you asked this literally as i was writing something about our tarithor world (fantasy world weve been working on for the last 5-6 years)
i put everything under the cut because it got really long. whoops.
anyway the main characters of that are leaf and tristan, twin siblings. theyre the princess and prince of the kingdom of thosan, who preside over the element of life, and leaf is the last (known) person from the kingdom of daru, who presided over the element of death.
technically, tristan is also from daru, but as daru was a matriarchal society, he wasnt considered to be from it, and when their parents split up due to failing relations between the two island kingdoms, their mother (princess morn) took leaf with her, while king asher (their father) kept tristan.
tristans best friend is a commoner called zachariaa, theyre the child of florists. theyre from the peoples republic of illopub, who preside over making choices and are mainly powerless. zachariaa got kicked out because they couldnt keep themself from being detached, and so now they live in thosan. (with their parents, although only barely.)
then theres princess elizabeth, leaf and tristans little half-sister. she takes after her mother, and therefore has powers over earth.
theres a couple other people involved there, but they arent as fleshed out yet, or their lore involves major spoilers (that last one is mostly basha, tbh).
but the bad guys of tf are ruled by the duchess of the kingdom of light (better name tbd), ember. shes actually from our world, and is controlled by a malevolent spirit to make her evil, basically. (very watered down version of events there, lol)
her main "sidekick" is seotha (see-OATH-uh), who nobody knows the origin of. all anyone knows about him is that he appeared after the genocide of the daru kingdom and advises the duchess in her day-to-day dealings.
those are the 2 main bad guys, although again, theres others who just arent as fleshed out.
