I got placed in Silver IV, which I suppose isn’t too bad considering half my games were filled with people who would either afk or troll.

Confused about ranked portrait borders

So I've never played ranked before and I finally decided to give it a try. All my friends who play are silver to plat and I placed into Silver IV. I was wondering when I would get the border around my character in the loading screens? Also, if I decide to keep playing ranked and somehow get back into bronze will I never get the border? One of my friends was gold last season and stopped playing ranked but still has his gold portrait banner. Again, I literally know nothing about ranked or how it works, I just played two games to get the border and see where I place in all honesty. Thanks for reading, cheers -

EDIT: I don't know if this will help, but here's my profile that says I placed into Silver IV . Also, sorry if I seem like an utter moron, but what is the Team3v3 and Team5v5 ? I usually just go solo into Ranked draft pick. Does that disqualify me or something?

hi i hate to be a little bitch and end up having to ask but, im looking for a silver elo duo partner to rank with on euw, im surrently silver 3, 0 lp (not really played ranked since my placements bc ranked anxiety) and i dont want to play alone, I go by gmt time if that helps too. i main support.
