             BRUCE SIGHS AND LOOKS OVER TO the small brooding boy sat in the corner of the room. he knows that damian doesn’t particularly enjoy attending these GALAS but neither does bruce and so he feels a tug of sympathy pull him towards his son. he picks up two glasses of champagne and walks over to damian, a soft smile on his lips as he offers out the glass. sure damian might not be much older than 14 but one glass of champagne won’t kill him.

              SELINA HAD JUST FLED FROM THE MUSEUM, alarms blaring behind her because she hadn’t caught ONE alarm and now she knew that the BAT would be on her trail. she curses under her breath as her eye catches a glimmer of red, green, and gold while she leaps from one roof to the next. her only saving grace is the fact that she happens to have cat treats on her and she KNOWS that there is a family of cats living in the next alley. she climbs down, landing on the ground just as she hears the snap of a cape behind her. selina turns, a soft grin on her face as she stares down ROBIN. she tosses a few treats on to the ground and the cats start to circle her ankles.

                     “ boy wonder, isn’t it past your bedtime? ” she smirks and lifts a cat into her arms. “ perhaps you should take this little love home. ”

“he did WHAT?” voice reached a higher octave, which he immediately regretted as it bounced around the walls of the mansion. he clamped his own mouth before he whispered, “i thought you SAID you were gonna seal the fucking deal!” and he really didn’t swear just then, he was just QUOTING damian’s own words.

“what, you didn’t even dodge? are you - are you even bleeding right now? oh my god, on the carpet? OH MY GOD, DAMIAN - go to the kitchen, QUICK! THAT’S TILED!“ with that he bullied damian out of the drawing room and into the kitchen and continued hissing his queries, “what else did he say?”
