this whale shark comes from the Georiga, Alanta Aquarium

They house two whale sharks currently. if my memory serves correctly at least one of them was saved from being eaten, and both have had boating incidents and cannot be re released into the wild.

Their names are Taroko and Yushan!! very cute names for very cute boys.

They're super friendly, you can pay to swim right next to them, when i visited divers were swimming right next to them.
