Bonne nuit. [bone-nuit or bonuit] - good night.
Ça va? [sa va] - how are you?
Comment ça va - how is it going?
Comment va tu? - how are you?
Tu va bien? - are you well?
Comment allez-vous? [formal: komo tale vu] - how are you?
Vous allez bien? [formal] - are you well?
Possible reply:
Bien. - well.
Bien. Merci. - well. thank you.
Ça va bien, merci. - I’m doing well, thank you.
Ça va trés bien, merci. [sa va tre~ bien] - I’m doing very well, thank you.
Je ve trés bien. [formal] - I’m doing very well.
Je suis en forme. [je swee zen forme] - I’m in good form.
Ça ne va pas. [sa nu va pa] - I’m not doing well.
Ça va pas. - I’m not doing well.
Je suis fatigue. - I’m tired.
Then, follow up with:
Et toi? [et tua] - and you?
To end conversation:
Bonne journée. - have a nice day.
Bonne soirée. - have a nice evening.
Salute~ - good bye.
Au revoir. - until we see again/goodbye
Adieu. - goodbye/ God be with you.
A bien tot. - see you soon.
