Now, in the past I have played the piano as well as the guitar. Neither one of those instruments really interested me. I basically played because I had to. I found the piano to be boring and the guitar was a little too difficult for my chubby fingers at the time. But now, with the ukulele, this adorable, mobile, and easy-to-learn instrument, I have no excuses. Not only is this an instrument that you can easily take with you wherever you go, but the music that it makes is beautiful. It has this island-feel to it that just makes you want to close your eyes and imagine that you are in Hawaii, donned with a floral necklace, moving your hips and grooving out to Hawaiian jams. 

I was first introduced to the ukulele by a guy I was seeing at the time. I always saw this ukulele sitting in his car, and I always wanted to hear him play. I came downstairs one day to see him just sitting on my couch, strumming away at his ukulele. I was speechless. Then, he started singing. He played a few songs that I knew of and he sounded amazing. Now I don’t know if it was him or the sounds that were coming out of that little ukulele, but I was completely awestruck. 

So after that, I insisted that he teach me, no matter how difficult and stubborn I got. And yes, the process of learning was frustrating here and there. But overall, the ukulele is a pretty easy instrument. I am enjoying it and I would definitely recommend getting yourself one and learning to play yourself. They can be as cheap as $20 and it is definitely nice to be able to take it with you places, or even show your friends some cool songs that you’ve learned and that they can sing along to.

Whats with all these youtubers not being able to play a sonic game, they start playing, and complain that, it’s too fast, they can’t control it, theres too much going on, on the screen, they don’t understand what to do. yet it’s so totally their own fault for just spamming jump in multiple directions then getting angry at the game that they homing attacked off the edge, or just expecting that holding forward and not slowing down is gonna not get them hurt, and or killed again. like thats totally not the games fault sorry, you just suck.

how about you actually look at the screen what your doing and learn how to play the damn game instead of expecting the game to play for you. when i was 12 i was getting A ranks on sonic heroes, so don’t give me that bull that it’s hard to control.
