Challenge #04787-M038: Escape From Injustice
When everything goes wrong for our protagonist, he takes to the seas, hoping to find a new life far from home. But no one can ever really flee from one’s past. -- Deathshead419
"Oh lack-a-day lilly, got bit by the filly! The whole world is hating on me. And so I'm running off to sea!" -- Alfarell children's song.
Fairweather knew she had a stowaway. It wasn't as if there were a lot of hiding places on her old tub. Kid thought they were completely hidden in a coil of rope with their hands over their eyes. A tiny little halfbred Elf curled up tight and miserable. Just the right age to be running away from home for the day.
A little adventure, a little scare, and soon they'd miss their people and want to go home. Ocean-going vessels were sharper about finding that flavour of stowaway and kicking them back to the docks. Kid must have thought themself sharp to hide there.

I need help figuring out a easy way to learn to write and remember Kanji. I'm dyslexic and I'm on my 7th day of learning Japanese.

A Decade of Learning
I can't believe it's been 10 years since I started my Korean learning journey.
I didn't expect to get this fair, especially with a language.
My mind has surprised me and my learning disability doesn't stop me.
This journey has opened so many doors for me and I can't be more thankful.
Here's to another 10 years and beyond!
language learning is TOUGH
i learned the phrase 'look up to you' only this year, it took me so long to remember it
look up at you?
look up for you?
look up on you?
look upon you?
look onto you?
wtf...
never thought that english speakers would also have to struggle with this phrase but in a different way; proves again both languages work completely differently and require a lot of hard work to master
but happy to know Jobroseph is taking 6th grade mandarin classes in his 30s; he's definitely someone i look up to
i'm gonna have a new english teacher soon, probably will aim at junior high school english; cant wait to speak more fluently soooooooooooooon
