We are all working at keeping learning on the radar for our grade school kids this summer. Practicing reading, writing and math for short periods each day in the early morning or before bed is what's happening in our home - most days.
Today I discovered this Write-A-Mat (above) that we have at Little Green Beans. What a great way to begin to talk about world events. (My son goes to Austin International School and is especially interested in other countries.) Lots of conversation and learning for under $3!
