I finally started my course work for term 2 ...3 weeks later 😅 . It's advanced stone setting in wax...as you can see I haven't yet got to the stone setting part either 😁 . I also had absolutely no clue how I was going to carve out the channel in the ring but I managed by drilling four holes in the centre, then running one of the dentist tools across them till I had a line. Next I cut off the non-serrated part if a wax saw and started sawing out the extra bits until I could insert a file... 😅 Bit of work, right? . I also had my grading one-to-one session last Saturday for my term 1 pieces. I'm happy to say that I didn't muck anything up 😂 . .
