How do you start a savings without tempting to touch it?

A single mother that is still going to school 👋 right here! Managing a budget has been my struggle. Teaching my son that every store we go to he will not get a toy from and walking with my soon to be two year old crying a storm while people stair 👀

After my separation with my kids father I would feel bad or guilty saying no or not getting my kids what they want that moment. But finding myself struggle at the end of the month (I get paid one a month 🙄) was a horrible feeling. My set backs has been less take outs and teaching my kids that we do not get a toy or candy at every place we stop at. It’s beneficial on my kids and myself in the long run.

After taking my shoes off, I really did have to sit here a while and contemplate cooking versus ordering. Last month, I started to really pay attention to where my money goes and was really annoyed about all of the clothes I couldn't afford to buy because I was ordering in so damn much (The people at the Dominican restaurant around the corner know my order and the people from the diner that delivers have gotten too comfortable with me). What makes this even more absurd is that I actually prefer my own cooking and so today, I cooked but tomorrow... no promises Sidenote: This YSL lipstick was a gift from @beesimpl3 and love her for it.
