The inspiration for the tall round tents in Journey Back to the South....
You guys have no idea how many times I have tired to draw this tents. It is soooooo f*cking hard for me for some reason. My lastest artwork was the closest I have gotten to what I have in my head. Theses are tents are called yurts. The Kokhurian tents are the closest to Mongolian yurts to be specific.
These tents are a little shorter than the ones in the my story—They are a lot taller so it can fit the tall Kokhurians (some who are over 7 ft tall like Gilbert). They come in a lot of different sizes. They also have dividers for the sleeping quarters for privacy. Theses are rather cozy and warm and just have a sense of love and family to it. It’s hard to explain why I think that, but I just do! I mean, look at them!! ❤️
