"I'm still mad at you."
He had no idea just how long he'd been running. He knew a few things. Like there was still rope around his wrists, and the cloth that had served as his gag now hung around his neck. He'd worry about working the knots loose later, when he didn't feel like he was being hunted by those alphas. The Alphas that had kept the human locked away in a room with barely enough food to survive.
Another thing he knew was that everything hurt, his bare feet definitely were cut up and his upper body hurt with each breath he took. He knew that he had to get out of wolf territory. He didn't know how he knew, but he just knew he was in another Alpha's territory and that he could end up in serious trouble for it.
Get out of wolf territory, get back to safe human territory. Stiles turned to look over his shoulder, tripping over his own feet in what he'd normally consider a movie cliche moment. Shit, shit, no. He scrambled up to his feet and kept running. It hadn't even occurred to him that he had no idea which Alpha's territory he was in. Which way he was going. For all he knew he was running deeper into territory instead of running away.
A sound made him stop dead in his tracks for a moment. Made his blood run cold and he almost fell to his knees with how badly he'd started to shake.
An Alpha's howl.
It came out of nowhere.
The paralyzing, nauseating, even dizzying panic. Conor had just gotten out of the shower and dressed when it hit him hard and fast. Shit. He didn't even know what triggered it.
At least, he reasoned weakly, he wasn't at home. They always were worse when he was there. The same place he'd been taken in the first place.
The bit in the back of his mind that was able to have coherent thoughts reminded him to thank Bevin for the idea of going to Derek's place. And thank his mom for agreeing to it.
'Breathe, force yourself to breathe, it was going to be okay.' He was in a safe place, nothing was going to hurt him. He was safe, the danger had left already, it couldn't come back.
Stiles was sitting on the couch, lightly licking his lips and shifting positions slightly. Derek had seen him in similar positions before, hell Derek had even tried to make a point about safety bu leaving Stiles literally chained once. He didn't see any reason why Derek wouldn't at least talk to him about this again. Just hopefully not in an unamused way.
He tugged a bit at the cuffs, this time he'd made sure the keyhole was placed downwards properly, the key sitting on a small coffee table easily within reach. It was just a waiting game at this point. Wait for Derek to come in, wait for him to say something.

"W-who are you? Or more importantly...what are you?"
It had been years since she'd thought about Talia. She hadn't seen the woman since their children were young and she'd gotten the news she'd have to move for work. After the move she'd raised her children and had heard about the fire at the Hale house in the news, and after that the family had slowly made their way out of memory.
Even when they'd been able to move back, and when she'd watched her oldest graduate high school. The arrangement had left her mind completely by the time Bevin had started university courses and spent more time working at the book store. She still had another child to get though school and he was a bit of a trouble-maker so he'd taken up a fair amount of her focus.
So it came as a great surprise when she had been working on an early dinner when the doorbell had rang. The even bigger surprise was when she opened the door and saw an all too familiar set of eyes looking back at her. The resemblance was so strong, Caitlin knew who he was. "Derek? You're all grown up, look at you."
