#TruthThursday Woke up to a text from a client that I didn't want to open in fear that they would infuriate me more than they had already done with late payments, and my spirit just isn't open to any of that this year because that is what I have decided. My joy, peace and contentment in mind, body and soul will not willingly be detoured by others, so I will delete and stay away from anything and everything that doesn't sit well with nor nurture the goodness of my spirit; However the first words I saw were "I'm So Sorry" - which completely changed my mood and opened me up to read further in what ended up being a lengthy text, but the start and finish of it all to me were the words "I'm Sorry"! As simple as the words "I'm Sorry" seem to be, they have become the most difficult words for far too many of us and our difficulty in accepting and expressing these words have and will continue to cost us great relationships if we don't recognize their importance and power in being the biggest mood and game changer to the start and end of any conversation and situation. Some of the most dangerous people in the world are the ones who always refuse to apologize at any cost- they lack empathy and remorse -which shows deficiency in character. Saying sorry doesn't always mean that you are wrong. Sometimes it just means you value your relationship more than your ego! I learned to say sorry even when I don't feel that I am wrong because I came to understand that my intention doesn't always equate to the affect of the recipient of my actions and words. And if we are real with ourselves, we all know that the only reason we find difficulty with apologizing is strictly based on ego, but if we truly care about maintaining any relationship- be it business, family, friendship or lover then an apology is the cheapest contribution that we can make in saving the most expensive gift called Relationship. You have everything to gain and nothing to lose except your ego when you apologize! #2017 #LearnToApologizeMore #CheckYourEgo #SayImSorry #PreserveYourRelationships #AnApologyIsAMoodAndGameChanger #OurGlobalFusion
