Cont... Day 1: Port Blair : The Place where I learnt to trust strangers👭 #travel #mytravelstories #goodpeople #learntobelieve #tripofalifetime #polkadots #connections Part II: Without spending much time there we were back again on the main road. A sigh of relief! They asked us our names, what we do, where we live, our trip plans and I was about to tell all of that when my friend slowly pierced my thigh with her sharpened nails signalling not to tell much. It is “according to us” the most basic way to stay safe-i.e. not to reveal anything. But I was already in the mid of telling everything, It was then tried to twist a little bit. I told them that we are about to join our cousin brothers in havelock islands. This was to make sure that we were not alone. 😑 I don’t know from which part of my brain this idea erupted but it sounded absolutely foolish to me right after I put it to them. Moreover, to give real touch to my unrealistic story I continued telling them about my imaginary brothers, their jobs, who are they and I didnt stop until my friend pierced me again signalling that I was going too far in my story. 😤 They drove us from the rural area to the market place. We all were talking, staring out of the car window, and then thinking what to think, and then talking again. And sometimes there was a grave silence and then I used to think how to break this silence.. ahhhhh!! This is me sometimes-an overthinking jerk. 😐🙄 Anyway, they kept driving and it was taking so long that we may reach the outskirts of Port Blair. They showed us their home which was left far behind on the way and then came the cellular jail. They came this far specially to drop us to the cellular jail. That was simply unexpected. It made me think that we can not trust people but also believe that there are some good people who can go some extra miles to help you. I feel grateful to them and thinking about them brings a pleasant smile on my face. (at Cellular Jail) https://www.instagram.com/p/BrDc1EWHDL3/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1pkd3s8ilhqc
