Totally overdid it, but I got everything rough cut, cleaned and conditioned. Gonna lay down on a heating pad and hope I don't end up still feeling it tomorrow.
Might finally use the leather I got from the Scrap Exchange. I've been hesitant since the desire to make it perfect is still there, but even if my project ends up being shit, I'll have learned something. And I can always go back and see if they have more scraps. It looked like a very large bin that had been supplied by a local leather company and even though it's been nearly a year, I can't imagine they'll be short scraps anytime soon.
