Val’um was in the midst of some studying, reviewing some old papers and scrolls. Yet, just as he was about to start another chapter, a familiar scent appeared, drawing a smile to his face.
“Hmm............now there’s something I haven’t felt in a while.” He chuckled, turning towards the woman. “It’s been too long, Cossette.”

cossette is probably my favorite oc ever, tbh. she has a fantastic and well thought out backstory and a fun and enjoyable personality. everything about her is just complete perfection. freckles gets a lot of crap for stuff she really shouldn’t, and i just want to make sure she knows she’s great, and cossette and all her ocs are great, and even if no one else appreciates all her hard work, i sure do. keep it up, freckles; you’re the best! There were few better ways to get a Hamada’s attention than to pepper their face with tiny kisses. Especially if they were asleep.
Tadashi hardly responded to the first kiss--a tiny peck on his cheek--but as soon as Cossette began covering him with them, he was wide awake. Caught between groaning over the loss of sleep and laughing, he turned his head from side to side, scrunching up his eyes and nose like a fussy child.
“Wh-- What? Coss--! Cooooss----” He sputtered and braced his hands on her shoulders. “What are you doing?”
