The Kingdom of the Abyssal Waters has long since ruled the oceans that cover Etune, and has maintained the Dorminia Dynasty for several thousand years. Lisanna is the 76th of the Line of Dorminia, bearing the title of Empress of the Abyss. Due to her prolonged absence, thanks to mortal interventions, her retainers have held the throne position for her, in the off chance that she would return to them one day(since dragons can live for multiple thousands of years, there is always the chance of her returning, unless the time extends to over ten thousand years). However, this did not disuade rumors of her ‘mysterious death’, with many feeling that a Dynasty had finally come to close.

Many coups and ‘false kings’ have tried to lay claim to her kingdom, but have all failed in their attempts to properly follow through with their schemes. But thanks to her timely arrival back in the Cavern of Scrolls, ripples crossed the seas bearing news of her revival, earning her the title “Lisanna the Undying”.

As it is now, Lisanna has indeed contacted her retainers and most faithful subjects via means of magic and water illusions, bringing news of her survival. 

She currently resides with her husband(and by proxy King of the Abyss), Val’um. As it is, she has sent a doppleganger illusion to hold her place at the Royal Palace and help smooth things out for her people. She will soon return to her homeland to properly address everyone and remind those who have forgotten what the line of Dorminia can do.

“A real dragon? The Owl Priestess said that my father said that Dragons weren’t real, but he could make one for me if I liked. I told her to tell him to not worry about it.”

At his mention of this not being her house, she huffed and placed her hands on her hips.

“I’m gonna get scolded if anyone finds me out of the house. He probably has the maids searching already.”

Well this child was quite intriguing. Though if her own world did not bear any talk of dragons save for myths and legends, what a dreary world it must be for them.

“Rest assured child, we dragons are as real as you and that priestess. They may not reside within your own realm, perse, but they do exist within the vastness of the universe, as you can see for yourself.”

Her little huff earned a small chuckle from Val’um as he shielded his maw from the little mortal. 

“Then perhaps we ought to get you back home straightaway, no?”
