So, I reread Little Sheep which I haven’t read since you still had your old account on here!
Question, was little sheep always supposed to be a X reader fic or was she originally meant to be an OC??
She gives me OC vibes and I’m curious how you imagined her if she was!

This is the first time somebody has asked for Little Sheep herself, and golly, there's a lot of things I haven't answered about her yet.
When I first made the story, I wrote it as a oneshot, including the fact that it was a Thomas Hewitt x Reader fic. But when I ultimately noticed that there was something there that nobody had done, I took the chance to write it as a series.
I wanted the MC to have a backstory, an explanation as to why she acted a certain way and how she made choices that were not always the best. Over time, I made her too complicated, I didn't make Little Sheep into a typical x Reader|Y/n, I never did. However, I did not explain her ethnicity, nor given her a real name, there was a couple of details I hadn't answered that could make her into an official OC. I still wanted those who read the fanfiction to feel a part of the story, so I decided to give anybody a chance to include themselves if they so desired.
Y/n|Reader stories are difficult to make right, since you have to include everyone without making the MC into one category, especially depending on what sort of fic it is. Making it into a kind of trilogy did hammer it down for me what Little Sheep would be like, so in the end, she did become an OC.
I still attempt, however, to make her more X Reader friendly. I've gotten so far with this decision that I'm sticking to it. It's not difficult, actually, and I hope that I have reached that achievement so that you guys can follow the fanfiction if OCs are not your thing. The same thing goes the other way if Y/n fics aren't entertaining to you. I'm really trying to appeal to anyone who stumbles upon my fanfic. This is most likely the only series where this situation is going to be a thing.
