The huntress rolled her eyes at the cheeky comment of skill. It was still dangerous around them and she intended to keep more people alive this time around when compared to the last. Those who thoughts angel would be sorely mistaken if she had to unleash true hell to keep them alive and thriving. Ignoring a sting down her backside, Fang shifted to glance around quickly. There was no sight of the other members of NORA, nor were there any signs of her other companions either. With a grumble of sorts, she rolled her shoulders and grasped at her lance a bit tighter.

"Bastards really are gonna eradicate innocent people just cause I'm still breathin'? I don't know where the others are but I'm not going to let you get knocked down or them either because of these vipers."

Fang found herself leaning against a wall while looking toward Lebreau as she appeared to her. Somehow it didn't surprise her too much as she had yelled out for her. It had been merely instinctive as no one else she knew had been around at the time. Something had jarred her out of her usual calm demeanor and Fang was rattled.

Overhearing a conversation, some things had been uttered that made anger pulse through her but also old and bad memories. It made her withdraw from everyone in the area and yell for her friend instead. She didn't want to be completely alone while trying to get herself sorted.

"I'm just having a moment and don't want to be alone."

"You do realize what my name is, correct?" Fang chuckled a little. It was obviously a joke to make a jab at the remark for a time.

"I didn't think you would unless consent was given. Truth be told I wouldn't mind. It would be better than a behemoth trying to take a chunk out of my hide."

『 ❝ what? ❞ 』 the comment surprised him, attention briefly drawing away from the creatures in front of him to regard the young woman, grip remaining tight on the hilts of both his Keyblades. while he didn't necessarily believe she couldn't hold her own, Roxas was hesitant about getting her involved with something that really didn't have anything to do with her. Heartless and Nobodies were something he was pretty used to dealing with, after all. still, one look at the woman's face told Roxas she likely wouldn't back down. she just had an air of stubbornness to her.

『 ❝ I don't know if that's a good idea. you really shouldn't mess with these guys. they're dangerous. ❞ 』 he turned his attention back to their assailants in time to deflect an attack with Oathkeeper and push them back, doing the same with Oblivion a moment later. 『 ❝ but I don't think I could talk you out of it either way... ❞ 』 so it left him with little option but to let her do what she wanted. he'd just have to make sure she didn't get seriously injured in the process. 『 ❝ just be careful. ❞ 』

he couldn't stop the snicker at the comment, spoken with such confidence and so bluntly. shifting a bit in his seat, he adjusted the ice pack he was using to cover a black eye to get the swelling to go down. his lip was split as well but it wasn't bothering him anymore. he was pretty used to getting beat up like this. even if it had nothing to do with his job. he tended to throw himself into the line of fire when it came to defending other people, after all. he just never liked sitting back and watching when he felt like he could do something about it.

『 ❝ I appreciate your willingness to kick somebody's ass for me... but it's fine. already did that myself. guy might've gotten a few lucky hits in... but he definitely regretted it afterwards. woulda been fuckin' hilarious to see you knock him down a few pegs, though. ❞ 』 oh well, maybe next time.

the comment probably shouldn't have made him laugh like it had, especially when he was still in a bit of pain. but there he was, letting out an amused laugh as he wiped at his face with a wet cloth she'd given him to clean off the blood. his clothes would be a little harder to clean, especially his jacket. he shifted his attention over to the blue leather, inwardly groaning at the mess. on the plus side, about 90% of the blood wasn't his. he may have gotten a little overzealous and overconfident earlier, not to mention utterly reckless. but that was just the way he was. a lot of people who knew him learned that quickly.

『 ❝ uh... thanks. I appreciate the help. sorry about this. ❞ 』 he offered her a charming but apologetic smile, setting the cloth aside so that he could take a better look at his few injuries. it was a good thing he was a quick healer. not that his wounds were anywhere near life-threatening. 『 ❝ at least I don't look as bad as the other guy. ❞ 』 he remarked, mostly to himself.

"Perhaps." arms folded, as they always did when encountering someone new. it was a tempting offer. if the Gullwings had taught her anything, it was that expanding one's circle, social or otherwise, was sometimes necessary. networking certainly brought it's advantages. as long as it wasn't anything too menial, she could make things work.

arms unfolded and head tilted to the side ever so slightly. "I'm quite skilled with a sword," and a gun, but she wasn't about to admit that to anyone anytime soon. "I can treat a wound if need be too. Would that help you guys out at all?" she still wasn't quite sure what NORA was, or what it stood for, but they seemed to have good intentions at the heart of it all. she'd have to do some digging later to try and find some more answers, but she could play along for now.

"Unless you had something else in mind?" perhaps her new found circle was expecting something different from her. it was always a possibility and perhaps she had picked up on something she shouldn't have.
