Straight from the tortie’s lips: I’m ok guys 🐾🥜 we did have a rough morning and thought we might have to go to ER 🙀 but our continually amazing vet Dr. Small #lechatcathospital coached us through it over the phone using a mix of leftover meds we had and the magic of @inaba_churu. After refusing breakfast I am now begging for my third meal in as many hours 😹😹 and when I heard mom posting this video I replied even LOUDER. Making big peanut buttery demands. Someone had an intense #tortoiseshellcatappreciationday 🖤🧡 Rye was very brave at the “drive through” vet today to get checked out by our fabulous (contactless) vet Dr. Small of #lechatcathospital 🙌🖤🧡 we brought home some meds and are waiting on some lab results 🖤🧡 we took an extra measure of safety and had a little bath which she didn’t hate once she was in and realized how nice and warm it was. She has been hungry and playful since we got home and the fluff dried out. She forgave humom immediately after. Fig thankfully recognized Rye’s smell as an added benefit to the bath and didn’t get upset by vet smell for once 😅 thank you everyone for all your sweet tortoiseshell appreciation day and Rye well wishes! (Sound on) Visiting #lechatcathospital today with a Piglet and an 👽it turns out humom was mistaken that Fig’s last weigh-in was 10lbs, she was previously actually 9 lbs 10 oz. today she was 9lbs 13oz 😹😹😹 we can’t believe she has only gained that little bit!! She got a clean bill of health - and is probably still the biggest by a slim margin 🖤 Olive chilled out in her carrier in a relaxed side loaf listening to the magic tunes of #davidteiemusicforcats @music4cats quietly 👽🖤 her favorite! We got some #CatTwigSilvervine and gave it a test drive today, hoping to blow off some steam from the stress of Olive being in for her dental today (these humans are WOUND UP). And geez she was totally fine!!! She ended up getting to keep one of her top canines but had a cavity in another molar that came out too. We haven’t seen a smile yet, she is on a long acting painkiller and is kind of grouchy and high. 🖤🖤Huge thank you to Dr. Small at #lechatcathospital for taking such good care of our sister!! 🖤🖤 thanks for everyone who spared a thought for her today 🖤 we appreciate all the kindness, comments and messages. 🖤 this would have been so much harder without the support of this awesome community who has been through it all. .
