To anyone who seems to believe Jimmy Page is some money grubbing miser...
First of all y'all more foolish than words can say.
If Jimmy was in fact some greedy scrooge character he would be out there suing left and right for people "borrowing his sound" *stares at Ireland hoping Bono can feel my judgement* or suing people flat out stealing some of his riffs (how many places have you heard Kashmir's riff that were not actually in the song Kashmir?) Instead he's flat out said it doesn't bug him because people will come up to him with songs that have riffs that sound a lot like his and he's like well it's just proof of the impact Led Zeppelin had 😁
Now Jim-jam may be more financially responsible than your average rock star but that's not a bad thing. People who are good with saving and investing will always get flack from the people who can't rub two pennies together. But he's not some stinge. He donates to charity and seems to be an all around solid dude so if anyone starts talking smack about Jimmy being a tight wad or just out for more money with the remasters and books and all I will throw hands.
