Not me rewatching Brutal Love for the thousandth time and marveling once more at the lyrics describing Lestat *feeling* Louis pulling on their joined thread. The bond. The cord. Yet Gabriella, also Lestat's fledgling, is rendered to nothing in that room. Everyone has disappeared and it's only Lestat and Louis.

It's music festival weekend in Kentucky. This band was the highlight for me on day one. The headliners were a nice little bluegrass band, and they weren't bad but frankly, a bit of letdown after these guys.
