Okay, this is gonna be my first tickle fic. My language may be jarring to read, so good luck down there.
Pairing: Steddie.
Summary: Steve and Eddie have started hanging out more since the Upside Down, and Eddie tried to teach Steve guitar.
Warnings: Tickle fic, please don’t read or send hate if you don’t like it, fluff, Steddie, I tried my best to write in character but Steve may be a little off.
Steve threw a small red ball up and down in there, laying on his back, staring up at Eddie’s worn out white ceiling. Counting the cracks, he quickly lost track of time, effortlessly catching the ball each time. Well, except one time. Eddie grabbed the plaything in both hands and stared down at the other, his long brown hair flowing down to his neck and partially covering his wrinkled hellfire T-shirt.
‘Harrington, are you going to do anything here?’ Eddie asked, agitated, one hand testing against his hip.
‘I am doing something.’ Harrington grinned, tilting his head back to look his boyfriend in the eye.
‘Something with me, pretty boy.’ Eddie huffed, dropping the bouncy ball onto his chest.
‘Okay, okay, what did you have in mind, metal head?’ Steve enquired, sitting up straight on the couch.
‘Well, there is someone I think you should meet, she’s in my room.’ Eddie tapped at his trouser pocket and bit at his inner cheek slightly.
‘Who is it- are you alright?’ Steve asked, tilting his head in confusion.
‘Me? Yeah, yeah fine.’ Eddie pressed up against his dented door, and nudged it open, taking a confident step inside.
Steve followed, his head semi filled with curiosity and worry for Eddie. Was it a friend, a pet, a family member? None of those actually.
‘Well, isn’t she just beautiful?’ Eddie exclaimed, chuckling slightly as he made an overtop gestures with his blue jacket covered arms to his one and only, guitar.
Steve sighed, and looked at his boyfriend, pulling his hand up from his hip to rub the side of his face.
‘You’re an idiot, Eddie Munson.’ Steve responded tiredly.
‘I’m your idiot, aren’t I big boy?’ Eddie declared, jumping down onto his bed. ‘Come on, I wanna teach you how to play!’ Eddie said, quickly changing the focus.
‘Eddie, I have no idea where to begin with this…’ Harrington said tiredly, picking up the guitar in both hands before sitting next to his boyfriend.
‘Well, that’s what I’m here for.’ Eddie smiled.
Steve gave a smile back, and looked down at the guitar in his hands.
‘It is beautiful, Eddie. Not as much as you.’ Steve chuckled, scooting closer to the freak.
Eddie recoiled at the gesture. ‘Ew, don’t make it romantic, that’s gay.’ He said, laughing silently to himself.
‘We are dating, Munson!’ Steve laughed, leaning his head against Eddie’s.
‘We are? I had no idea!’ Eddie said, fake shock laced in his in voice. ‘lght, gimme your hands, I’ll lead you through playing this.’
Steve gulped and scratched at his palms before allowing them to be placed in Eddie’s warm, protecting hands; a light blush appeared on Harrington’s face.
‘Alright, let’s get the basics, just do a little stroke against the e chord.’ Eddie lead his hand to the thin, white.’ ‘Like this.’ Eddie ran his finger down the cord, causing it to hum in musical delight. His nail curved slightly at Steve’s palm, making him twitch slightly.
Steve did as instructed, and the instrument rewarded him with more sweet sounds in the air.
‘Now play an E and bring it down to D.’ Munson ran his finger along the instrument, once again, his nail brushed against Harrington’s hand, causing him to giggle lightly.
‘Are you making some kind of dick joke with the D chord, Harrington? In my serious music lessons?’ Eddie put in his over the top scholar voice.
Steve giggled more.
‘N-no, it’s just..’ Steve blushes lightly and trailed off, looking to the side.
Eddie tilted his head at the peculiar behaviour, and scored closer to his boyfriend, their shoulders now in contact with one another.
‘It’s what, Harrington?’ Eddie reached out his hand to the side of Steve’s face, stroking his cheek and forcing their eyes to lock in contact.
‘My hands are ticklish…’ Steve mumbled, covering his mouth with his hand.
‘What was that, Harrington?’ Eddie asked, removing his hand.
‘My hands are ticklish!’ Steve blurted out, a little too loud.
Eddie looked at Steve and crosses his arms over his stomach. ‘So, King Harrington, the one who fought a Demagorgon, Russian guards and Demobats, and won, has little ticklish hands and he’s too flustered too admit that to his own boyfriend?’ Munson enquired, moving even closer to Steve.
‘Okay, you don’t have to exaggerate it that much, Munson.’ Steve huffed, looking away.
‘Oh, I think I do!’ Eddie said, pulling Steve’s arm into his lap. ‘You kept this adorable secret from me for months, I deserved to know, Harrington!’ The talker began circling his black painted nails softly against Steve’s palms. Kicking his legs around the room, Steve fell back on the bed in stitches.
‘Nahahahaha, Ehahahaddie, you dickheaahahahahd!’ Steve exclaimed, squirming his upper body around.
Eddie let out a offended gasp. ‘Me? Your sweet boyfriend who graciously offered to teach your guitar, who you have deceived, a dickhead?’ Eddie took to tracing the palm lines against Steve’s hands.
‘Eek! Nahahahat thahahat, you’re suhahach a dohahahark!’ Steve buried his face in one of Eddie’s pillow, bits of loose hair covering it, in order to hide his crimson face.
‘And you’re a blushing mess, what’s your point?’ Eddie suddenly reached up and squeezed at Harrington’s sides; causing him to bounce around against the soft bed and squeal loudly.
‘Eeehk, nahahahaAHAHAHA, MUHAHANSON STAHAHAHAHAHAAHAP!’ Steve begged, desperately squirming his entire body around.
‘Alright, alright.’ Eddie said, giggling lightly as he ruffled Steve’s hair. ‘Well, that was interesting.’ Eddie grinned to himself.
‘It was fun.’ Steve mumbled, burying his face against Eddie’s shoulder.
Eddie sighed, joy laced in the air, as he placed his guitar delicately back into its stand. Pulling Steve closer to his body and onto his lap, Eddie laid back against the bed frame, leaving his jacket to the side.
‘I love you, Harrington.’ He yawned.
‘You too, freak.’ Steve smiled, laying his face against Eddie’s neck, tuffs of hair sticking to his face. Maybe learning to play the guitar wouldn’t be such a bad idea from now on.
As long as it was with Eddie.
