Captain Usopp vs The Great Tickle Monster
Summary: Usopp is off to tell one of his silly stories, I wonder if Kaya will like it!

Usopp wiggled his way through the square hole in the hedge of Kaya's family estate, landing on the other side with a loud thud.
"Ow" he grumbled, quickly getting up and making his way over to the tallest tree on the left side of the large manor.
He crept slowly the base of the large tree he climbed every day to see Kaya. He always told her a new story, or a continuation of one he told the day before.
Each story had one sole purpose: to make Kaya laugh. Every story he thought up was designed to bring joy to her. He loves seeing her laugh. The sound was so beautiful and it made his heart flutter.
He swung his grappling hook to hoist himself up to that strong branch by Kaya's window. He readied a small pebble & tossed it at her window to see if she was there.
Like always, she ran to the window, swinging the dual panes open.
Her pale blonde hair had gotten longer in the passing months, even the color returned to her cheeks. She almost looked like a doll.
"Good morning milady" he bowed his head and did a funny curtsy of sorts.
"Usopp , please we've been over this. Call me Kara"
"Haha I know, but what kind of pirate would I be if I weren't a gentleman." He straightened up and smiled big at her. She laughed softly
"Oh a gentleman hmm? Well good morning to you sir" she did an actual curtsy in her nightgown. His heart clenched in his chest.
So cute he thought.
"How are you feeling today?"
"Better, I got a new medication last week from Merry and it's been helping with my sleepiness." She sat down on the window sill as she spoke to him. She was the only person who bothered talking to him like he wasn't some filthy pirate. She looked him in the eye, smiled at him, and was always kind to him.
"That's amazing, I'm glad you're feeling better. Just you wait, soon I'll take you on an adventure with me!"
"Me? On an adventure? Really!" Her eyes twinkled with delight.
"Oh yeah, you can be my first mate, and we will sail the high seas to find treasure beyond your wildest dreams Kara!" He waved his arms as he described their future.
"You promise?"
"Pirate's honor." He held his hand up & his other on his heart to show he was sincere
"I've never been on a boat before. Father was going to take me to visit some associates across the water, but. We never got the chance to do it." Her smile dimmed briefly as she spoke of her late father. She never really recovered from losing them both, grief was funny like that.
Usopp's chest hurt at the sight of her losing her smile.
"H-Hey, speaking of adventures! This reminds me of a story I had been saving for you!"
"Really? I can't wait to hear it. Go on!" She caught his gaze again and smiled. She loved Usopp's stories. Even though some of them are so outlandish, she always liked hearing them.
"Yes! This is the tale of the Great Captain Usopp & the Terrifying Monster! And terrifying it was. It was huge! It was almost the side of this tree! I found a map to the monster's home & decided to raid it for treasure."
"Did you find any treasure?"
"Oh piles of it! Mountains! All gold coins and shimmery jewels, and pearls as far as the eye could see."
"Wow, I can't imagine how many berries that would be."
"But alas, before I was able to grab a single jewel, the monster attacked from behind. It's terrible ROAAAAR thundering through the cave. The stone walls shook around me, it was so loud!" He leapt onto her window sill as he roared to playfully scare her. Kara let out a EEK, then a stream of giggles as Usopp got even more dramatic with his story telling.
"What did you do!"
"Well I fought of course, I'm the brave and fearless Captain Usopp, nothing stops me!" He took a heroic stance on the sill , looking down at her with a grin.
"I took out my slingshot and aimed, but the large monster was too quick! So I shot again!"
"Next thing I know, the monster has me in his grasp. I thought I was a goner for sure!"
"Then what happened?"
"The monster looked at me and spoke in a deep voice. 'You dare come to my cave to steal from me?!'" Usopp made his voice a little deeper to make the monster's voice. Kara couldn't help but giggle at the silly tone.
"You puny human! You are no match for the most terrifying monster on the planet! They call me.." He paused for more dramatic effect. She was on the edge of her seat waiting for him to continue. When all of a sudden , his arms lunged for her sides. His fingers gently wiggling up and down her sides.
"A-Ahaha! Usopp that tihihickles" She squealed wiggling around in her seat, the beautiful sound filling the room.
"Usopp? I'm the Tickle Monsterrr! Tremble with laughter before meeee!" Usopp was still using his deep monster voice as he continued his little trick. Her smile wide with laughter as his hand playfully poked around her tummy, causing her to double over on the little couch by her window.
Usopp leapt onto her carpet, quickly getting on his knees beside the giggling girl as he resumed his light tickle session. He reached to tickle her shoulders and down her arms, chuckling as he watched her try to gently swat him away
"N-Nohoho, not thehehere Usopp plehehease" She scrunched up her shoulders as his fingers wandered too close to her collarbones and neck.
"Ooooh, has the Tickle Monster found your weak spot, cutie?" He teased, his real voice becoming more evident as he spoke.
"Yehehehs plehehease, mercy Tihihickle Monsteheher Usopp!" She squealed as his hands dove into her neck for just a moment, then slid away.
"The Tickle Monster is satisfied with this begging. I shall grant mercy."
"I-I was not beggihing!" She tried to pour up at him from her laying down position on the small couch.
"Oh yeah? Then what was "ohh noo mister tickle monster don't tickle my neck pleeeease"."
Kara let out a gasp. "I did not say that! You jerk!" She laughed as tackled Usopp to the ground, her legs quickly pinning him by the waist.
"Now let's see how you like it Mr Tickle Monster~"
"J-J-Jokes on you ! I-I'm not even ticklish! Not even a little bit! I swear!" He blabbered on about how he wasn't ticklish, but Kaya could tell he was lying by how nervous he looked.
"You're not? Are you sure?" She asked genuinely as she started prodding around his sides with curios pokes.
"A-A-Hehey d-d-dohon't do thahat" he struggled to keep his giggles in but it was no use. Usopp wasn't just a little tickle, he was extremely ticklish.
"Awww you are ticklish!" She moved her hands to his tummy, making clawing hands against the overalls materal. Which didn't help the sensation at all.
"K-KAYAHAHA snort Stahahahahp! Nahahat theheheEHEHHERE!" He yelped and snorted out funny sounds as he flopped on the floor like a fish on dry land.
"Oh now look who's begging." She teased, her giggles sprinkled in as she watched Usopp flail about. "Let's see how you beg when I try 1 your neck!"
"Plehehease nohohoho!" He tried to block her but it was soo late.
Oh crap... I'm done for! He closed his eyes and prepared for the assault, holding his hands up in defense.
Kaya's delicate fingers tapped and traced all over the poor pirate's neck. This caused an eruption of snorty laughter.
"KAHAHAHHAA--snort NAHAHAHHAA PLEHEHEHEASE!" His long legs kicking out in ticklish distress and he did his best to not shove her hands away. It tickled so terribly but he couldn't risk hurting her.
"Ok ok 'Mr Tickle Monster', I think I got you back well enough." She giggled, placing her hands back in her lap as she watched Usopo pant to regain control of his breathing.
"Th-Thanks Kaya, I guess even pirate Captain's can't be totally powerful, but keep this between us. I have a reputation to uphold." He tried to be proud but it was hard for Kaya to take him seriously.
"Whatever you say Usopp" She booped his nose with a laugh followed by a sigh.
"Are you feeling tired?"
"Yeah, I think I should get some rest before dinner." Usopp hesitated a moment, but he got to his feet quickly.
"Usopp?"
"U-Usopp! Wh-What are you doing?!" She eeked out in a high pitch. Her cheeks glowing red.
"H-Helping you to bed, milady." His face was almost redder than hers. He took confident steps towards her bed, he placed her gently on the soft mattress. He flicked his glance back and forth form her to the blanket as he pulled it up for her.
"Enjoy your nap Kaya." He smiled.
"Thank you Usopp, you're sweet." Kaya's hand came up to the pirate's face. He brought him closer to place a kiss on his other cheek. Usopp's face burned more as he rubbed the back of his neck, as he made his way towards the window.
"I-I-I ah y-Yeah so -- I'll see you tomorrow KayaaAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!"
THUD
Usopp had accident tripped over the little couch & had fallen out the window. Kaya normally would be concerned, but since this wasn't the first time. Her laughter rang loudly from her upstairs window.
Usopp laid on the ground, waiting for the ache to go away as he listened to his favorite sound in the world.
