Prompt 96 - “What are you so scared of? It’s just a feather / brush!”

“What are you so scared of? It’s just a brush!” 

“Yohohou’re not supposed to use it there!”

Korra laughed, dragging the brush over his foot again, which she held captive in her lap.

Mako’s face bloomed red as he snorted out a laugh. “Plehease!”

“I can’t believe you’re so ticklish.” Korra murmured, swiping his foot with the brush again. It was nice, strong, a gift from Asami. It worked perfectly fine for hair, but once she had discovered in a drunken curiosity that it felt ticklish as hell when brushed against feet…

“Korra!” Mako pleaded.

She swiped the brush again, and Mako choked on a laugh, tugging at his leg uselessly. “Come ohohohon! Stahahahahoppit!”

“Oh, I’m not done yet.”

“Nohohohoh!”

“If you really want me to lose the brush that badly… I can always use my fingers.” Korra grinned, scribbling on Mako’s sole.

“Gahhahahah! Korra!”

This was a draft I never got the motivation to finish, so I'll just post it like this Mako and Bolin headcannons

I need more Mako and Bolin content, I've found barely anything on these adorable brothers and I need more so Ima just put some of my headcannons for em here

Mako

Lee:

Okay so like this man is so ticklish, like a 9/10 (Totally not because stoic men breaking down into a pile of giggles is ADORABLE)

Bolin, being his brother, knows this and uses it against him when Mako is in a sour mood

His ribs and underarms will get him cackling, sides and thighs are probably a good middle spot, and his neck and stomach will get really sweet giggles

Bro is a squirmer, this man has to be pinned down or you may get a knee to the stomach

He's just adorable okay? Like afterward he'd curl up still giggling and saying no

Korra finds out by walking in on Bolin wrecking Mako (probably because she heard Mako screaming) and is like "No way- Mako is ticklish?!", from then on Mako wasn't safe 😆

Oh yeah that's another thing bro is yelling and acting like he's being murdered when you've barely started lmao, he can't handle it at all

Korra wrecked him a lot during their relationship, she was ruthless about it too, she doesn't strike me as the person to be gentle lol, she would tease him and dig into his ribs, poor guy would die (She probably still does every so often even after the relationship anyway)

Teasing KILLS him, bro will be a tomato within a minute of being teased. Teasing in general kills him but if you throw in baby talk or call him cute he will just die on the spot. Anticipation also kills him, he can't stand the anxious feeling and giggles building up

Bolin knowing how much it affects him won't do it too often but if he gets particularly cocky he'll bring his confidence down a peg

He takes a while to recover from being teased, he'll be so embarrassed and flushed that he won't be able to look at you until he is at least not red anymore

His laughter and giggles are addictive cuz you don't get to hear them often so when you tickle him it's like "Omg I can just make him do that?? It's been this easy the whole time???"

Make sure to get this man a glass of water or something after, poor dudes been yelling and flailing around the whole time he's definitely tired himself out

Ler:

He definitely doesn't initiate it very often cuz he sees it as childish but he can't stand to see Bolin sad so you bet he's gonna tickle him to cheer him up

He's also the older sibling so like ofc he's gonna know how to be a good tickle monster, he knows the techniques to cause anticipation, what commonly works best on different spots, like bro if he's after you start praying cuz you are dead lmao

He definitely would be too embarrassed to do it in front of people so he'd make sure he's alone with whoever he's about to tickle

Teasing? Average teases such as "Oh, not here?" Or "Stop what? I'm not doing anything"

He's definitely tried to get Korra back but she's strong so she usually ends up pinning him down instead

This man is scary like he's 6'2 bro looks down on you, that's intimidating

He's definitely willing to put up a chase, if you run he's following and then dragging you somewhere people won't bother you guys

He likes to give rough tickles, he'll give gentle tickles if the lee is getting tired out too quickly

He falls for Bolin antagonizing him every so often and will wreck him for it.

Bolin

Lee:

This man is such a lee dude, he loves being tickled and he wouldn't try very hard to hide it at all

He would be giggling up a storm before you even touch him and would try and run away, if that fails he just starts babbling "please" and "nonononono-"

He is so cute, I don't think he'd put up much of a fight other than some pleading he doesn't mean, he wouldn't say stop just tell you to move spots if it gets really bad

He's bad on his stomach and sides, get him there and you'll get deep belly laughs and he'll get more squirmy. His underarms and feet are good middle ground if you just want him laughing and his neck and ribs are good for giggling

Korra easily finds out because Bolin instigates it himself lmao, poking her in the side or something every so often in the hopes she'll get him back

Korra of course happily gives him what he wants and wrecks him, she'd trap him in ice or rock oftentimes so he can't run away from her

Anticipation absolutely kills him, he will already be giggling but if you try any kind of anticipation like hovering your hands or talking about what you're gonna do his giggling will increase along with his pleading

Teasing on the other hand doesn't get him as much as it gets Mako but you can definitely get him with tricks like "Don't!" "Don't what?" "Tickle me-!" "Well since you asked" or making him hold his arms above his head because he'll fail it 100% of the time

While he's recovering he likes it if you sit there and talk to him and such, maybe even some cuddling if you're fine with it :]

“Was that a squeal?”

Panic took hold of Mako when he heard Korra’s question. That arrogant smirk crawling across her face made him realize he was in imminent danger. All she had done was pinch his side, barely touching him at all, but that tiny sensation pretty much made him combust. The sound that came out of his mouth had been uncharacteristic, to say the least.

He slowly backed up, eventually hitting the wall behind him. He looked around for an escape, but he knew she’d catch him if he tried to run and then it would be ten times worse. Sometimes having the avatar as a girlfriend had its disadvantages, especially when it came to strength and endurance.

“Korra no.”

“Korra yes.”

She closed in on him, and the anticipation made him even more nervous. Suddenly, she lunged with hands outstretched until she latched onto his sides, pinching and prodding all over while wearing the evilest grin.

As soon as she touched him he began to laugh, despite his efforts to hold it back. He tried, really tried to fight her off, but her hands were quick and the tickling was throwing him off his game. Every time he attempted to grab her hands she’d move them to another spot on his sides. She was just too fast.

“AAAAAAGH! NonononoNOOOOO! STAHAHAP!”

“Awww, what’s wrong? Big strong Mako can’t take a widdle tickling?”

“SHAHAHADAHAHAP!”

Her baby talk teasing really wasn’t helping. He felt like he was losing his mind. With her nails gently digging into his waist on one side and her fingers dancing up and down his ribs on the other, he could do little more than squirm and giggle like a little kid. She kept taunting him, commenting on his high pitched laughter and his weakness to the tickles, and didn’t stop until he was red in the face and completely out of breath.

Once he’d regained his composure, he was understandably peeved. He pouted like a child until she apologized, showering him with plenty of kisses and hugs.
