Synopsis:

Niki couldn't stop laughing about Heeseung on live, so Heeseung gave him a real reason to laugh.

It was one of those days Niki couldn’t help but find his Heeseung hyung hilarious for no reason. The elder was just sitting there during their live and doing nothing. Regardless, he couldn’t help but let his giggles out. It was like everything the older was doing caused a giggle out of him. The fact it was on live was making it more embarrassing. The amount of people watching him lose it over nothing was something the youngest didn’t even want to think about. 

His hyung’s weren’t being of any help either. Pointing out his giggliness and even cooing at him for it. Calling him “their baby” despite the fact he was now an adult. 

Looking down he was trying his best not to let out his laughter, holding it back to the best of his ability. He just had to wait till the end of the live and he’d be fine. For the most part it worked, only small hiccups here and there of letting out a small fit of laughter. 

With some struggle the live finally ended. Some of the members cooed at him, lightly teasing him “Couldn’t help but giggle your little heart on Niki?” Jake smiled, ruffling the youngest’s hair. Which only earned him a groaned complaint “Knock it off.” He was just grateful the laughing fit had died down inside of him. 

For the most part he had forgotten about it once they all headed home, that was of course until Heeseung sat down next to Niki on the couch in their dorm. Niki was watching tv and laughing at some funny moments that were happening.

The eldest grinned, a plan forming in his head “You know, it’s rude to laugh at somebody for no reason” he adjusted his position and wrapped his arm around Niki. Not wanting to seem suspicious. 

Niki quirked his eyebrow. “What are you on about? It’s a show it’s meant to be funny.” Heeseung quickly pulled Niki into a backhug, wrapping his legs around his waist to keep him in place. “Oh no no no, I meant earlier Niki. Laughing at me for no reason? Shall I give you a real reason to laugh instead?” 

As soon as he realized the youngest began to squirm, trying to find an easy way to escape. Unfortunately with Heeseung’s legs firmly wrapped around him it made it a lot more difficult than usual. “Don’t you dare- I couldn’t help it-”

“Then you really won’t be able to help this~” The eldest pinched at his sides at random, slowly scribbling up and down.

A wobbly smile formed on Niki’s face, squirming back and forth trying to lean away from the ticklish feeling, ultimately only leaning into one in the process. “HyuNg-” He tried to suppress his giggles from spilling out. 

“Yes Niki? Won’t you giggle your heart out for hyung? I mean you had no problem doing so earlier and I wasn’t even doing anything~ Now that I’m giving you a reason to, you want to hide?” Heeseung leaned closer to whisper in his ear “Well that’s just a shame, guess I’ll have to try harder then.” He squeezed at his sides rapidly, kneading slightly with each squeeze.

The dam burst and with the change in technique Niki couldn’t hold back his laughter, “WAhaHAHAHaiT NOhoHOHOHO-” He squealed, kicking his legs out in an attempt to get Heeseung’s legs to loosen their hold around him. The older wasn't budging one bit. 

Heeseung smirked “Listen to that laughter, you must find me so funny to be laughing this much over me today. How precious.” A light pink spread across Niki’s cheeks, he shook his head “YOHoHOHOHOU’RE NOHOHOT FUHUHUHUNNY-” 

A loud dramatic gasp was let out “ME? NOT FUNNY? Well let’s just see how much I can make you laugh to change your mind.” On the left Heeseung drilled into Niki’s side and on the right he drilled in between each rib, vibrating his fingers. “What’s worse Niki? The left or the right?”

All the younger could do was let out a shriek and a squealy “NOHO-” Throwing his head back with laughter in the process. “IHIHIHIHITS BAHAHAHAD, IHIHIHITS SOHOHOHO BAHAHAHAD- THEHEHEHE RIHIHIHIGHT-”

“Perfect!” With that Heeseung began drilling both sets of ribs on either side. “Now I really know how to make you lose your mind~ Isn’t it just wonderful?” 

More shrieks were let out before hiccups were followed shortly after. “HYUHUHUNG IHIHIHI- IHIHIHI CAHAHANT- IHIHIM SOHOHOHORRY” 

“Oh nooow you’re sorry? After insulting me and saying I’m not funny?” Heeseung grinned, “One last thing before I properly forgive you, yeah?” He lifted up Niki’s shirt slightly, revealing his bare ribs to the elder. He took in a big breath, Niki’s eyes widened as he realized just where this was going “WAHAHAHAIT NOHOHO DOHOHONT YOHOHOHOU DAHAHAHARE PLEHEHEHEASE-” 

Despite the protests, Heeseung blew long raspberries along each rib, causing the younger to go into hysterics. With the final raspberry, his laughter went silent. 

“Dawww now look at you, had such a good time your laugh has gone silent~” Heeseung rubbed away the tingles, unwrapping his legs from Niki to free the younger.

With that, Niki curled into a ball, giggling softly into his hands. “AhaHahahasshohole” Heeseung chuckled, pinching Niki’s cheeks “Keep that attitude up and we’ll have to go for round two” 

Niki tensed up and shook his head “Ok ohokay I’m sohorry” 

“Muuuuch better,” He ruffled the younger’s hair and smiled, “Now you should know better than to say I'm unfunny”

“Yeah yeah”

Mayoi happily walked into café Cinnamon, looking for his purple friend, when he was suddenly approached by Niki.

"Oh, you seem to be in a really good mood today Mayo~".

"Eek! A-am I being too obvious...?".

"Maybe not to others, but you can't fool my nose, y'know? You smell better than usual... like sweet cream... really makes me wanna have a bite~" Niki grinned mischeviously over at the nervous male.

"W-what?! B-but I'll taste terrible!".

Niki ignored his please as he slowly got closer to Mayoi, a teasy smug look on his face, as Mayoi only shrieked in fear.

...Somewhere else in Café Cinnamon...

Shinobu and Midori had gathered to eat some sweets alongside Mayoi, except their purple friend hadn't arrived yet. That's when Midori noticed him on the other side with Niki. "...What are those two doing over there?".

"Ahah, I wanted to ask that aswell..." Shinobu chuckled a bit nervously at their weird banter. " I feel like there's some grand conversation going on between them".

"It seems like they're fooling around but, don't you think their body contact is becoming fiercer?" Midori asked concerned as he noticed Niki trying to take a bite from Mayoi's cheek.

"Actually, they may be starting a fight?! What's going on? Lord Mayoi is supposed to be having desserts with us, but now he's gotten himself into some weird trouble?!".

They both got lost in thought for a moment as to what could be happening, before Midori spoke "Oh, I get it! They must be acting out some hero shows, like the ones Morisawa makes us do all the time! So, that's what you guys have been doing in the ninja club?".

"Are they really? I don't remember doing roleplays like this with Lord Mayoi..."

"Nahaha~ Now you can't escape from me, Mayo~".

"Eeeeeek!!! Where are you Chieftain?!"

Shinobu's head instantly perked up at Mayoi's shriek "H-hey! Lord Mayoi is calling my name! You're right Midori, it's time a hero- no, a ninja makes an entrance! Let's rescue him together!".

"What? Why am I also in this?".

"Please, Midori! I really need help from a comrade like you! No hero or ninja should run away in a time like this! Come with me!".

Shinobu took on a heroic stance "Yellow flames are the proof of hope! A miracle, shining a ray of light into the darkness! Here's RYUSEI Yellow: Shinobu Sengoku!".

Midori following after, albeit still a bit hesitant "G-green flames are the proof of kindness! Nature that grows infinitely! Here's RYUSEI Green: Midoro Takamine!".

The two heroes rushed over to the scene, Mayoi exclaiming in delight when his eyes fell upon the cute ninja "Chieftain!".

"Don't worry, Lord Mayoi! Call my name aloud, and I will sure come to your side wherever you are!"after reassuring Mayoi, Shinobu quickly turned his attention towards Niki. "And you! The "Hungry Café Baddie"!".

""Hungry Baddie"? You mean me? You Ryuseitai kids give pretty good nicknames".

"He's unexpectedly friendly?!" Shinobu exclaimed, feeling a bit unsure of himself. "Morisawa never taught us what to do in situations like these...".

Midori let out a sigh "As much as I agreed to tag along... it feels depressing that I want to run away so badly...".

Shinobu thought for a moment, before gaining back his heroic stance "I won't be deceived! I won't let you run around hurting the innocent anymore! Take this! "Ninja Art: The Ryuseitai Lightwave!". He jabbed Niki right in the stomach, causing him to let out a yelp.

"ACK-! H-hold on! That's my tickle spot!".

"Did you hear that, Midori? The "Hungry Baddie" is ticklish! Let's get him!" Shinobu sent Niki a teasy smirk as he launched himself at him, wrapping his arms around his midsection and scribbling wherever his small fingers would reach.

"W-wahait! S-stahap that you brahahat!" Niki giggled hysterically as he tried prying off the smaller male off of him.

"He's a real squirmer. Midori, hold him down!".

Midori let out the 500th sigh of the day. Feeling a bit hesitant, but he still complied to his partner's request, hooking his arms under Niki to prevent him from squirming too much "S-sorry about this...".

Niki raised a brow in suspicion before an ear-shattering squeal escaped his throat "WAH- HYAHAHAHA! N-NOT THEHEHERE!". Niki threw his head back in laughter as Shinobu dug all fingers into his stomach.

"My secret weapon! The RYUSEI tickle barrage!" Shinobu snickered at his own sillyness, not showing any mercy on poor Niki's belly.

"NAHAHA! T-THAT'S SO BAHAHAD!" poor Niki shrieked in laughter, his face crimson red.

"So, do you give up?!" Shinobu slowed down his fingers a bit, but still didn't let up.

"Ahahaha! O-okay! I-I gihihive...!" Niki wheezed in laughter, his eyes turning a bit teary. At that, Midori let go of him as Shinobu halted his tickly fingers. Niki instantly collapsing on a nearby couch.

"Victory is ours, Midori!" Shinobu pumped his fist in the air, while Midori only looked like he wanted to burry his head underground.

Once Niki regained his composure, he stood back up. Even though it was a fun encounter, he wasn't sure what all that was about "What was that all about?".

"Huh? I thought this is what you guys did in the ninja club".

"No, I thought you were hurting lord Mayoi so we came to rescue him!".

"Huh? I was just messing around with him. I'm used to messing around with my unitmates, but I guess I can see why you'd think differently. I'm sorry Mayoi".

"W-wait, I'm sorry. It was my fault for overreacting..." Mayoi apologized, feeling all shameful.

"No, it's my fault for jumping to such conclusions, I'm sorry...".

"Well... instead of feeling sorry, how about we eat some delicious desserts~ All that tickling left me pretty hungry" Niki managed to lightened up the mood as the other three nodded happily. He quickly went to whip up their tasty snacks, shortly after the four of them eating happily. Hopefully no one saw their weird hero show display, that for sure will embarrass Shinobu and Midori for days to come.

Niki makes a mental note. Never challenge Jack to anything.

Sure, getting to tickle him was fun, but now she’s on the receiving end and she doesn’t know if she can keep her arms up for much longer.

Jack is way too good at this, smirking down at her as her arms shake. He wiggles his fingers above her, shooting down for a moment and barely touching before he pulls them back. She squeals every time, falling into a new fit of giggles and struggling even more to keep her arms above her head.

She can’t tell if this is better or worse than the actual tickling.

“Keep them up,” Jack reminds her as she once again brings her arms halfway down before remembering the challenge.

“I’m tryhyhying!”

“Doesn’t seem like you are, though,” he says, poking at random spots on her ribs to make her squeak. “It’s really not that hard.”

Niki squirms. “Y- you dihidn’t lahahast vehery long,” she points out. Jack glares playfully and rapidly begins squeezing her sides. “Wahait, okahahay, I’m sohorry!”

She grabs her wrist in her other hand in an attempt to keep her arms steady. Jack notices, though, and moves to squeeze her thighs instead. She bursts into louder laughter, and she’s starting to regret this even more.

The two of them had been messing around with each other, as they normally do, and it had escalated into a tickle fight. At some point, Niki had challenged him to keep his arms up for as long as he could. It was fun while it lasted, getting to tickle and tease him, but then he’d turned the tables. He’s keeping his tickles light for the most part, knowing full well that it drives her insane. She desperately wants to bring her arms down, to either push him away or to cover his face, but the desire to win this challenge is stronger.

Her instincts, however, are strongest, and so when Jack scribbles at her stomach she can’t help but shove at his hands weakly.

“I lohohost!” she giggles as he continues tracing around her belly. “You cahan stop now!”

“Do you really want me to?”

She decides not to protest any more.

Letting the door to her house close behind her, Niki looked at the ground as a sigh escaped her mouth. It was a long day, to say the least.

To start, it was cold. Very cold. As the weather was unexpected, Niki didn’t dress as warmly as she should’ve on this unfortunate day. And what made it worse; she was going to do outside gardening work today.

To be expected, doing heavy gardening work with the cold winds brushing against her skin every few minutes was draining. She felt as if her muscles were going to freeze up at any moment, the chilly breeze almost taunting her at this point.

Niki wiped off the cold sweat from her forehead, deciding that the few hours of work were enough for the day. She shook her head, wanting to do more; but the nearly unbearable weather was twisting and pulling at her motivation.

‘There’s nothing wrong with taking a break for today, right?’ Niki asked herself, trying to find some form of validation; even if that involved talking to herself. She was tired, and all she wanted to do is sit by a warm fireplace and nap.

Treading along the paths to her house, Niki looked up and began to see the shadowy silhouette of her home amongst the fog, a soft smiling pulling from the corners of her lips.

She walked in, sighing as the warm air surrounded her. She immediately went into her room to change into a colorful striped sweater and long pants and left to go start up her fireplace.

To her surprise, her fireplace was already lit; and a little poof of white hair could be seen peeking out from on the couch.

“Puffy? Is that you?” Niki spoke quietly, unsure if her tired eyes were failing her or not. With a soft hum of acknowledgment, Puffy peaked up from where she was reading a book. “The one and only! Why don’t you come here and warm up, yeah?”

Niki rushed with haste, and crashed into the sheep hybrid with a big hug, immediately being pulled into her embrace. “Rough day?” Puffy softly asked, feeling Niki’s head nod with a small nod. “You’re all good now, though. You can relax, I got you, Niki.” With that, Niki immediately melted into her friend, practically laying on her lap as the captain softly slotted her fingers comfortingly through her hair.

“Is this good?” Puffy asked, a fond smile painting over her features as her best friend smiled and nodded, enjoying the cozy heat from the fireplace on her skin and the long nails lightly scratching at her scalp.

"You're like my fireplace, you're so cozy." Niki mumbled, smiling to herself as she enjoyed the feeling of her hair being played with. Puffy let out a soft chuckle, smiling at Niki's comment.

It was peaceful, to say the least, until the said long nails got dangerously close to Niki’s neck.

“Oh, sorry! Did I hurt you?”

“N- No! I just… felt a small itch and it startled me!”

Puffy raised an eyebrow, not believing what she had to say. The pirate wasn’t a gullible one, that’s for sure. “Alright, come lay back down, you goof,” Puffy spoke with a playful tone, Niki obliging and laying on top of her lap again.

Puffy wasn’t gullible, but she was definitely curious. Gingerly, she let her nails scratch the base of Niki’s head, right by her neck. To be expected, the woman let out another squeak… and what sounded like a giggle. Ohhhh.

“I see. I’m guessing you’re ticklish?”

“M- Maybe?”

“Good to know.”

Niki shuddered at the sudden teasy tone that Puffy put on, immediately falling back as she felt gentle tracing up her side. “I’m gonna help cheer you up, ‘kay? Let me know when to stop.” Puffy knew her friend needed this. The blonde would never admit it, but there’s nothing better than soft tickles from the person you're close with after a long and taxing day.

A pink blush dusted over Niki’s cheeks as she nodded, covering her mouth as giggles began to pour out as she felt ticklish sensations over a particularly sensitive patch of skin.

Puffy’s nails found where her side met her belly to be particularly sensitive, lightly scritching at the skin. “PuhUHUFffy!” Niki squealed, the sheep hybrid just chuckling at her. “Niki!” She playfully repeated, earning a flustered grumble from her friend.

“Y’know Niki, I’m proud of you for how much work you did today. It’s not easy to be outside in the cold weather, especially if you aren’t properly dressed for it,” Puffy smiled, gently scribbling her fingers right beneath Niki’s belly button before continuing, “...and I’m honestly impressed. Not even I would be able to do that; I’d go back home after merely ten minutes!”

Niki was able to hear the reassurance message over her own squeals, a big grin spreading across her face from both the tickles and Puffy’s kind words. “I- It tihiHIHIckles- nohot thehEHERE!” The blonde threw her head back as Puffy’s nails skittered around her sides, gently squeezing the crook of her waist.

“Why not? I quite like it here, it gets those cute giggles out of you!~” Puffy exclaimed, chuckling softly at Niki’s whine as she covered her face. “N’awww, Niki! Let me see that pretty smile!” She fluttered her nails into her friend’s upper ribs, making Niki instantly crash her arms down.

“There you go!~” Puffy cooed, smiling as she noticed how less tense Niki sounded, and how she was more relaxed and giving in to the soft tickles. “You did a lot of hard work, you deserve to allow yourself to relax completely sometimes. Even if you don’t feel like you deserve it, you still do.”

Niki hummed in acknowledgment, bubbly and soft giggles still flowing out of her mouth as Puffy’s tickles turned into light traces around her tummy, melting completely into the soft tickles.

“Are you sleepy, Niki?” Puffy asked, noticing how much of a puddle Niki was, and how she was subconsciously snuggling into the captain. “Mhmhm…” She mumbled through her giggles, looking up at her friend with tired eyes.

“Then sleep well, I’ll wake you up in a few hours when dinner is ready, alright?” Niki nodded, sleep already washing over her body. Puffy sighed contently, playing with Niki’s hair as she slept on top of her lap.

With the crackling fireplace and cushy couch being a bit too comfortable than it should, Puffy yawned herself, the relaxing atmosphere making her sleepy as well. A little nap wouldn’t hurt anybody.

“Where? Here?” Wilbur teased, a smirk on his lips as he squeezed at both of Niki’s kneecaps with his hands. The baker squealed with laughter, kicking her legs the best as she could, which wasn’t much, considering that Wilbur was squeezing at her knees relentlessly.

“WIHIHILBUHUR!!” She threw her head back and hugged herself across the chest, and the two of them smiled wide, greatly enjoying the other’s company.

Definitely more of a ler-lean. Mostly because he loves making others smile and laugh and it actually helps him relieve stress I honestly don't see him being someone who is super ticklish. I feel like he's just a regular amount of ticklish. However if his underarms are targeted he'd be done for A little bit of a tease mostly if he knows you like it. Mostly doing it to get reactions out of whoever he's tickling. "You hear that cute little giggle? Let's hear more of it~" Definitely playful. Whether it be coming up with a tickle game or just randomly he decides to start tickling you while you're literally just sitting on the couch. Is the type to try and have you accidentally ask to be tickled. "Don't what? Tickle you? I'd love to!" A switch because he's too ticklish not to be. He's a sensitive boy (not as bad as Jake though) Oh he's a mean ler though like he's a tease. Anticipation is his favorite he will draw it out until you're a giggly mess and he hasn't even done anything yet Raspberries. LOVES to give them. Will say something like "Hey do you know what my favorite fruit is? Actually! I can just show you~" And there he goes Will pin you down but he also loves to just hug from behind and keep you trapped that way. Plus then it's easier for him to raspberry and blow on your neck Loves to give tickles for any reason honestly whether it be cheer ups, 'annoying him', or simply because you looked like you deserved tickles He's really sweet afterwards though, giving a nice hug and helping rub all the phantom tickles away to make the recovery process faster Now when he's being tickled? He is very squirmy. He literally can't help it If he knows you're trying to tickle him he'll either try to fight back and tickle you (tickle fight >:)) or he will run away. Most of the time it's the former but when he does decide to run he will be giggling all throughout the chase Despite loving giving raspberries, he cannot take them. LIKE AT ALL. Idk what to tell you besides definition of ticklish. He is literally so sensitive it's shocking. Ticklish EVERYWHERE A switch. He would think he's a ler-lean but he gets tickled more than he gets to tickle others so... someone would have to break it to him that he's most definitely a lee-lean He's a strong boy so pinning comes pretty easily to him. Pretty fast too he loves when it turns into a chase :) He says it makes it more fun for him when the lee runs away cause then it gives him a bit of a challenge Will pick you up when he does catch you and will start tickling you mid-air to immobilize you a bit. He's a lee-lean HOWEVER he's one of the most evil lers I swear but he's still a cute ticklish boy Definitely the type to give tickles when someone gives him attitude though.
