went and saw the new WW2 movie Lee last night with my friend, and there’s a scene where a random soldier walks past the screen and for the LIFE OF ME I THOUGHT THAT IT WAS EUGENE ROE.

i went to see the movie lee tonight. i encourage all undecided voters to watch it and see if anything looks/feels familiar.
I just saw Lee and it was a very good film.
Samberg did a great job for his first drama! Very subtle choices!
I had some story framing issues and some filmmaking qualms. It had some serious and dark moments that were very necessary for the story.
I must also say that earlier in the movie before all that, Samberg, WHERE YOU BEEN HIDING THAT CHEST HAIR, BABY?
I felt like a Texas Avery cartoon with him all dressed up in uniform.
And Kate Winslet was amazing as always. You already knew that.
Is there any theater in the US that is showing Lee (2024)? The streets are saying Kate Winslet ate with this role and I wanna see it 😔
