In terms of pure entertainment value, this is easily one of the most compelling dramas I've watched this year. It draws you in with a fascinating plot hook and never lets go. A lot of the stuff that happens requires suspension of disbelief, especially when it gets a bit too convoluted, but the characters and the pacing make the whole thing super-engaging. The two leads are excellent as per usual, but Kim Go Eun in particular turns in the best performance of her career, which is saying something; she creates an (initially) inscrutable character that chills you to the bone from the start. It's also worth mentioning that the show deals with potentially triggering topics at some points, so be careful with that. All in all, despite its flaws, The Price of Confession offers up a thoroughly engrossing K-thriller that you'll want to binge-watch.
