Post # 5: Ticklish Thoughts for Non-Ticklish Feet
I’m not ticklish on my feet. Pumice stone scrubs are relaxing to me, and don’t get me started on foot massages. They’re like heaven. Thinking on it. I believe it’s because I can normally see it coming (it’s one of the most common and most ticklish body parts) and growing up no one tickled my feet the right way for it to give me the ticklish sensation. I think its because of two reasons: my feet/their hands were dry, and they didn’t use their nails. They always just fluttered their fingers against my feet, and it did nothing. So, when people ask the question I say “I’m not ticklish on my feet” and it goes nowhere even though I’m technically giving them free info on the rest of my body as accurately as I can. It’s been a long time since I’ve been tickled.
However, I can’t help but squirm when I imaging someone pulling or tying my toes back so that my arches and the little bit of area under my toes are exposed and then using the metal part of an afro pick or a wartenberg wheel or their long acrylic nails or nail gloves on that area. I’m sure that would get me.
What about everyone else? Are you not ticklish in an area but squirm about thinking of someone tickling that area the “right way”?
