He does like her and has respect for her but I see him being blinded by a couple of things. He has some serious addictions and mental health issues that she has helped and guided him through. I heard "she's was there for me when I had no one." He is grateful for how much she has done to help him through these issues and that's the main reason why he's in this relationship. Not for fame or money, he already has enough of that.
The thing is though that I'm picking up gratitude but I'm not seeing love and feelings. I don't think he's in love with her. So you're right about that.
I do think he's quite attracted to her, very pleased in the bedroom as well (likely a couple that's VERY sexually compatible), but his emotions aren't there. I can't see them marrying each other, but I do think he would be forever grateful to her for all that's she done for him.
