Metronomy - The Bay La spiaggia sembrava un paesaggio di Tanguy. Le dune coperte d'erba, le conchiglie sulla riva, e i tronchi d'albero mozzi che si stagliavano contro la fine nebbia che avvolgeva il mare e la baia, diffondevano, con il loro gioco di chiaroscuri, una luce quasi lilla, come di tramonto. Eppure era solo il primo pomeriggio, o almeno, Neil Dorn riteneva che fosse primo pomeriggio, benché non ne fosse proprio sicurissimo. Il ricordo degli ultimi giorni era molto confuso. Aveva guidato ininterrottamente, aveva seguito una dopo l'altra le strade costiere finché queste a poco a poco non erano diventate sempre più strette e sempre meno frequentate e alla fine era approdato, attraverso un viottolo sabbioso, a quella spiaggia.
