Help Ella Knight raise money to support Alzheimer's Society
Only some may know this, but my dad was diagnosed with early on-set dementia in late 2023. It's been a strange road to navigate, but he's taken it in his stride with his usual humour. I couldn't be more proud of how well he is doing, and his refusal to give up.
Dementia doesn't have to devastate lives, and to show my dad our support, my little dog Bart and I will be taking part in the Alzheimer's Society Leeds Memory Walk on Sunday 12th Oct. If you are able to donate, any amount is extremely appreciated, it all goes towards an important cause.
If you aren't in a position to donate, no pressure, spreading the word is just as helpful. More awareness means more chance of funding vital research, providing carers and support, and making sure nobody faces dementia alone.
