Story of Frill being brought back is something that has been hiding in my folders for several years unfinished. I’m still not quite happy with it, but I guess it’s time to accept it and move on to something else. 

Frill is my DnD character. A skeleton bard with a lot of package to carry on his bony shoulders.

Main Cast of our Curse of Strahd Campaing - or at least most of it

I've been having a little project for my own enjoyment and drew a lineup of our CoS main characters - mostly our PC's and couple NPC's. Amento is my reborn puppet druid, while the others in the party are Matra human paladin, Tera half-elf rogue, and Varis elf bladesinger wizard.

Eustebio, our human bard, I banished to the NPC page, although he was one of our original PC's. His player had to drop out of the campaign around a year ago and we haven't seen his shady bard since. And I just had to put Pidlwick II in the PC page, as he's almost one too. I'm very happy how Ireena turned out, as I'm not super fan of her original hot lady design and I've always imagined her more of a "good looking, but in the end just a normal girl next door" type. Strahd I had to draw couple times and I'm still not 100% happy with him but I'm getting there.

Pidlwick 1-2-3 🎭✨

I've had the idea of this image for some time in my head, ever since we found out that my puppet druid Amento is the second artificial version of the jester in the original Ravenloft court. He's been having a tough time trying to live up to his past lives, and the fact that h̸̳̜͛î̵̙̦́s̴̝̳̆̏ o̴̧̯͗̓ň̴̞l̴̙̥̓y̸̹̒̒ p̷̟̱̼̱͉̋̓̓͒̽u̷͎̎̏͑͆̀ř̴̺p̶̺̦̑̈̕o̸̘̿̃̈́͑s̵̹̥͕͕̊̃͊ȩ̵̢̻͍̥͒̂̄ is̶̢͈̱̟̾̿͝ to̶̠͋ k̵̞̥̥̀̍̕e̴͔̩͗̈͠e̴̠̬͍̜̊͊̽́̊p̵̧̛̀̽ Ir̸̟̖̳̗̦͌͒͠ȅ̴̥͂e̴͍̽̿̓͐n̶̡̧̛̹̞̤͂͠a̶̧͔̪̻̮͒̈́̈́̎͑ h̶̬̼͈͉̄̒͐̀a̴̛̝̳͔͌p̴̪͒͌p̸̛͇͕̽͗̽ỷ̸̢̖̚ is not helping. He has met both of his past versions, and both of them feel very uncanny to him, like that strange repulsion you get when hearing your own voice played back to you. 🌚

Talking about the voices, we had a part where our party heard their own voices reciting the prophecy back at them, and I love imagining how Amento thought that it sounded like the voices of his friends + Pidlwick, as it has never occurred to him that they share the same voice. ✨

Pidlwick II and III 🎭

Amento has been having a stressful journey figuring out his past as Pidlwick III. In the castle he met his first failed version Pidlwick II, which definitely creeped him out.

Now he lives in denial saying that they look nothing alike (they do).

I wasn't too keen on the official design of Pidlwick II, so I just drew how I imagined him instead. Also our DM added in the story that he has a second face in the back of his head, and the head rotates 180 degrees between happy and sad expression when needed. It's so creepy I love it.

Amento is my reborn druid in Curse of Strahd campaign. I had no idea what the story was when I was designing him and decided he would be a puppet. It fits so well with the story it's almost uncanny.

Amento was cool for 1.5 seconds in the fight, then he got bonked in the head and decided to flee. ❤️‍🩹🌱 Kazan the Blood Spear was not amused about this cowardice (and the fact that it seems like all our enemies has no blood for it).

Amento is my reborn puppet druid in the Curse of Strahd campaign. And he's still quite convinced that Kazan has probably mistook him with someone else as the future leader of its Berserker Armies.
