Aias pauses and looks up from the letter he had been reading over, an envelope bearing a wax seal of the Fatui symbol laying on the table beside him. Even when he's off duty, it seems that the work never quite ends, but he'll always make time for his family.

Case in point: He puts the letter down and turns to face Anthon properly, giving him his full attention. It doesn't escape his attention that Anthon is standing at a strange sort of angle rather than face him head-on himself. A transparent act from an immature actor.

"...Bullying, you say," he says slowly, as if he's mulling the topic over and not already mentally drawing up plans for retribution. His own guise is much more well-practiced as he puts on an empathetic expression for his brother, not a hint of his glacial anger shining through a close-lipped smile.

They say revenge is a dish best served cold.

"Well, I'd say that what you're doing right now is about right. Telling a teacher would be my first thought, but if they aren't taking care of the situation-" And boy, will those teachers be regretting that choice of inaction. "Then telling another adult you trust is the next best thing."

Aias leans out carefully to place a hand on Anthon's head, not forcing him to turn to face him, but gently ruffling his hair instead.

"It's kind of you to reach out on your friend's behalf, but this isn't something children can handle on their own. How about I come with you to school tomorrow? I won't get in your way, I'd just like to have a... talk with your teachers."

Part of him wants to refuse outright on principle. Anthon might not be as young as Teucer, but he should still try to keep his childhood admiration alive as well, right?

What is with his siblings and having questionable hyperfixations?
