First 24h summary of our 3 days trip to the Landes. It was about leaving Paris yesterday at 4am, drive 8h straight with the GTI to south west of France in Les Landes and eat a maximum amount of duck rillettes with foie gras, breast of duck and duck confit. And also drive a lot on local backroads we don’t really know well. This is one of the many reasons why I find live-action Beauty and the Beast repulsive.

The film was promoted to be incredibly progressive and that it has the first official LGBTQ Disney character.

LeFeu in the film, however, is an offensive stereotype of a gay man and that is not at all a good presentation. It is a straight idea of a gay man being represented as this idiotic goof.

It is not a good portrayal.

I know I run a Little Women podcast, but oh my gosh...maybe I should do a special episode of films that are being sold as "feminist" and then are not like that at all.
