“Do I wither up and disappear, or do I make the best of my time left?" -Morrie” | Mitch Albom, Tuesdays with Morrie |
Time it passes and it tells us what we're left with
We become the things we do
Third Eye Blind, Blinded
Left With
It's like, walking down the street witch ya mind at ease, Complementin' your self when your brains on freeze, I need dreams and substance to maintain my mental, evacuate all the hate dimmin my potential. It's a clear view with shady lenses, up to you when it's time to jump fences, like for instance I feels though my mission is to be here and realize what's missin', could be a decision or just an action I ignored when I should of listened. But listening is what I'm meant to pursue, maybe it's what I'm meant to do. Stickin to my goals like glue, even if sometimes the shoe don't fit so good. I'm brushin all sorts of ideas like rainbows on a canvas, it's easier to stand up even when I cannot stand this. Did we plan this? Naw I think it was already in motion, like viewing people explodin' when you can't figure out why your passions been stolen. I aint foldin', hell that's a cowards game, I'm built to maintain, from the stars I have came to amplify a voice that maybe wasn't my choice, but the silence is turned off and I'm left with the noise.
