- @YouTube is censoring us. Every single music video from my publishing company, Noctis Cultus Publishing (#ASCAP) is being messed with by someone at YouTube. After 10 whole years, they still haven't allowed CD Baby's aggregation of the #Gravemist "Tribulation" album to show up, yet leftist bands' new music shows up within mere days after just being released. After reporting unauthorized use of our music by other users multiple times, I still haven't received anything about my copyright claims, and the unauthorized videos remain viewable & monetized by someone we don't even know. I send fans & local friends the links to view the videos that do show up and they say they have watched repeatedly but the video playcounts go down instead of up. Our videos are all obfuscated in search results with completely unrelated videos that don't even share keywords in common coming up pages ahead of ours. For years, I honestly had begun to believe that people who use YouTube just didn't like our music! I didn't immediately jump to the conclusion of censorship, because 99% of our songs had no Political content. Then I realized that Google, who owns YouTube, is pushing negative content of people talking shit about me /our band(s) to the top of the search results. I also realized that YouTube keeps a "watch history", which in my case, includes a lot of right wing political videos. I'm now certain that the type of content I view on the site has influenced how my accounts function. I now notice other right wing users having the same complaints, including the right libertarian channel Rektifiar, which makes fun of SJWs, who recently made an entire video about how they're hiding his videos from anyone who isn't subscribed to him. Thus, I am going to be removing what few music videos I have personally uploaded there.
