TWITCH STREAMING YAY
I’m starting up streaming again! Woohoo! It’s been a long time since I’ve streamed, and I still don’t have the perfect equipment, but I’m getting back into the Twitch scene by replaying the Deponia trilogy. (I’m planning on writing a fix-it fanfic off the series for NaNo, so this is a great way for me to solidify my knowledge of story material!)
Made by the visual arts savvy German video game developer Daedalic Entertainment, Deponia is a point-and-click adventure series involving off-kilter crude humor and a Chaotic Neutral asshat protagonist, Rufus. Rufus lives on a barely-inhabitable junk heap planet called Deponia, but has been spending all his life and energy trying to leave this planet for the paradise space station Elysium. His over-the-top wacky plans, however, have never worked, and he’s been nothing more than a delinquent, egotistic, good-for-nothing nuisance back home. When he manages to meet an Elysian woman named Goal (yes, that’s her name), Rufus begins to learn more about the history of Deponia, the truth behind Elysium, and a conspiracy that could put every member of his home planet at risk. As you might imagine, it’s up to us - playing Rufus - to try to save Deponia, and Elysium, and himself, and Goal.
