In light of recent events here in the office, I have come to realize that... 😐😐😐 Quick, ugly work.
There are days when you feel as bright as March morning... then there are days when you wish to get hit by a truck. Right now, the latter applies to me.
When everything has turned into shit… all we can do is keep breathing. I can’t help but be reminded of Grey’s Anatomy whenever I hear this line. And it’s always a great line to hold on to. ✊🏽
Oh, and pardon the ugly shadows and spacing and ribbon. I finally managed to do it without sucking monumentally, so I’m going to post it. :)) Yay progress! ☺️☺️☺️
My dad came home one night and said he bought me two drawing books, each with a different size. It wasn’t the fancy, legit-im-an-artiste kind of drawing notebook – it was the kind you would buy for your 8 year old kid for an art class.
Funny thing is, I didn’t give a rat’s ass. I could care less if he bought me 3 loose sheets of bond papers for my art. The mere fact that my father remembered that I try to make art is already a huge deal; to know and feel his support through that simple gesture is another. ☺️☺️ I am, and will always be grateful for my parents (in this case, my dad) who love and support us (even though we suck as human beings). So I made him this using the new drawing notebook he gave me! Thanks, Papsy!
Plus, I just really love papers and notebooks and pens and all that so… 😅😌
