the prison had fallen, her father brutally killed. it still didn’t feel real. she’d never taken the time to process it, ending up in grady far too fast to have the chance. she doesn’t know what happened to maggie, to rick, to anyone. she doesn’t even know about daryl anymore. she’s managed to get out of grady, but now what ? where does she go ? there’s no way to know if her group reconnected or - more importantly - where they went.
she found the signs for terminus, but by the time she got there it was in flames and full of walkers. her hope had already been shattered by the hospital, now it felt like the world was just stomping on the broken pieces. and so she had headed back to the city, looking for anything that’d help her. it’s on her journey that she stumbles upon a miracle. she’d given up faith a while ago, but perhaps this would change that.
