Did Alaric’s confession as to why he let Hope into the school rub anyone else the wrong way?His motive has always been to protect his daughters and that’s fine but he essentially used Hope like a supernatural life insurance policy. “So she could protect you…” *pause for shifty moment* “and so you could protect her.”
Can I just say I totally called this ending of legacies. It was being set up in a certain way, and have none of you seen Buffy the Vampire Slayer? I feel old! I need someone who does gifs to make all of the buffy/hope parallels in this episode, because thats what happens in Buffy! At the last minute, her lover returns instead of the monster, and she has to kill him still. The doing so makes it so much harder and more emotional for her that at the end of it all, she ran away. What did Hope do? Turn it off and plan to leave. Also, I don't think in all of the TVD, TO universe have we covered someone who turns and turns it off not long later (within 24 hrs) so to all the people hating on this, we haven't actually really seen this done this way before and its gonna be super interesting!
I cannot be the only one who thinks Trudy is shady AF
Clarke’s two-week relationship with the overly chipper Trudy is gonna come back to haunt us all. Her asking about vampires like that? Yeah, no.

They could use that ash to put Hope down the same way her dad did with his siblings but they’re always thinking in terms of all or nothing
