Legacy/Sequel Trilogy: SDTCI Style
Note: This cannot be covered in three movies. It just can't. I'm imagining Three Phases a la the High Republic covering the skulduggery and prologue, all-out war, and the apocalyptic end.
Without further ado, Star Wars: The Legacy Trilogy
THE FATE OF THE JEDI
Eight years have passed since the defeat of the Yuuzhan Vong, and the shadow of war once again falls over the Galaxy. The sinister First Order has risen from the ashes of the Imperial Remnant, backed by defectors from the Republic and a shadowy benefactor in the Unknown Regions, and turns its intentions on a galaxy tired of war… But they are not unopposed, as GENERAL LEIA ORGANA and her allies gather a Resistance for the coming war, while her daughters JAINA SOLO and ANAKIN ORGANA meet this new threat on the battlefield and senate halls… Amongst all this chaos, Jedi Master LUKE SKYWALKER has disappeared while searching for records of the ancient Je'Daii, and rumours abound that the First Order is seeking whatever he has found. To combat this, Leia has sent her most daring pilot on a secret mission to Jakku, where an old ally has discovered a clue to Luke's whereabouts…
THE WILL OF THE EMPIRE
Phantoms have returned to haunt the Galaxy. Though the First Order's assault has been blunted, the ghost of the Empire has sent the New Republic reeling. FINN finds himself as part of the Resistance's fighting retreat alongside Anakin Organa and TAHIRI VEILA, pursued by the relentless CAPTAIN PHASMA and DARTH KRAYT, leader of the One Sith, whom Anakin finds eerily familiar… Jaina Solo, The Sword of the Jedi, pursues a ghost wearing her brother's face as he pursues her niece, ALLANA SOLO, and through her, leverage over the Hapes Consortium. But she and the Jedi Order find themselves contending not just with two factions of Sith, but with their own minds, and the voice that whispers for them to join her… The answer of this riddle lies with Luke Skywalker, who has uncovered the ghost of an ancient evil, one who threatens to throw the galaxy into unparalleled chaos should it awaken. But he and his son, BEN, find themselves haunted and hunted by his own personal ghosts, and their salvation may lie with REY, or VESTARA KHAI, a young Sith Warrior sent to kill him…
THE FORCE AWAKENS
Abeloth awakens, and night falls on the galaxy. Across the galaxy, dozens of planets report anomalous events straight out of their cultural eschatologies, and force sensitives touched by the Darkness hear the cooing words of the Mother of Mortis, telling them it will all be over soon. The message is clear, the end times are coming, as Abeloth intends to turn the whole galaxy into a gaping Wound in the Force. But hope still remains, and has ignited the fires of rebellion across the stars. The Resistance and Republic are battered but remain defiant, while the Jedi steel their jaws, their younger members healed from Abeloth's voice. Luke Skywalker has returned from the Unknown Regions, old enemies now erstwhile allies, intent on stopping a plot in motion since his father's birth. The Sith and the First Order have turned on each other, split between the revolting Stormtroopers led by arch-traitor Finn Galfridia, the hardline Neo-Imperials and the Final Order, intent on enacting Abeloth's apocalyptic goals. Twilight has descended on the galaxy, and the fate of the Force itself hangs in the balance, to be decided on Exegol. And so the galaxy musters for war, knowing that this way be the end of an age, but one met with defiance and hope. The end starts now.
