it would be foolish of him to even attempt to understand the ways of the old jedi, or even the rebirth of the new sort as twisted and broken as the man before him appears to be. no no, he shuts out the ideas of the whimsical, the idea of the force & its ways leaving him uninterested if not somewhat fearful. he holds reason to a higher regard, despite the evidence of the force’s power manifesting in the figure of that prodigy son, instead attributing his opinions to fact and to logic. concrete, quantifiable things.

headcanons on droids

     Matt  has  no  issue  at  all  with  droids.  After  being  around  C3PO  and  R2D2  so  much  of  his  younger  life,  Matt  actually  has  an  attachment  to  them.  He’d  be  more  likely  to  make  friends  with  a  droid  than  a  random  person  any  day.  He  also  understands  all  the  beeps  and  stuff.  I  don’t  know  if  that  counts  as  a  second  language  or  not.  But  to  be  honest,  if  Matt  had  stayed  with  Leia,  I  could  see  Matt  ending  up  inheriting  C3PO  and  being  perfectly  happy  with  it.

tell me about your cooking headcanons

     Matt  can’t  cook.  He  can  cut  up  fruit,  make  caf  and  tea,  he  can  reheat  something  in  whatever  the  equivalent  star  wars  has  to  a  microwave  —  but  he  cannot  cook.  He’s  tried.  He  just  isn’t  skilled  at  it.  He’s  more  likely  to  toss  together  a  cold  cut  sandwich  then  even  attempt  boiling  water  for  ramen  noodles.  For  some  reason  his  WORST  luck  happens  in  the  kitchen.  However,  if  someone  else  knows  how  to  cook,  then  Matt  is  more  than  happy  to  help  prep.  Just  don’t  ask  him  to  make   sure  something  doesn’t  burn.  Because  it  will.
