this is an official townie call for my go at sims in bloom! i've had a few people already send me sims and i'm so thankful; but i'd love to have more of your guys' simmies running around in the sib save!

they can be spares/anything else from your own legacy challenges, random sims you've made, you can link me to sim downloads you already have, give a gallery id or even make sims specifically for this save of mine!

sims of all ages and species accepted! families, roommates, single sims, elders, ANYTHING. i'm accepting them all to fill up even a few houses in a few worlds as well as making some townies. give a backstory to put in the family description if you want, i don't mind.

this doesn't have any type of "deadline" either , since simmies will be used and running around the duration of the challenge :D

edit: should have probably mentioned this. but i'd rather the cc be rather on the lower end if you do. they'll be using my default skin & eyes. and if you do use cc, please use maxis match! [cc-lite or cc free]

End of the Year - What happened?

This post is mostly for me (@goody2chouxs) because I like numbers and statistics. And I really wanted to know the numbies™ for the Legacy Hypesquad. What was the most played game, what was the most popular challenge, how many rulesets were introduced via this blog, etc. etc.

The sites that I used to analyze this year were drunkonschadenfreude and jetblackcode.

And now, to the post:

The legacyhypesquad has been generated on July 14th, 2022, and up to this date, has been running 171 days.

In these 171 days, there have been 1,370 posts: 28 of them were original and 1,342 were reblogged. These posts have accumulated 757 notes in total, which means that 582 notes were for the reblogs, and 175 notes for the original posts. The Hypesquad has gained 101 followers this year, 28 of those in the last week.

I've already compiled a Thank you Post a few days ago, but again - Thank you so much, I am still *Flabberdazzled* as fuck!

Ok, now to the more interesting part - What was in these posts?

As stated before, we have 1,370 posts. Out of these 1,370 posts, 1207 were gameplay (#legacy challenge). 96 were rulesets (#ruleset and #legacy ruleset). 33 posts were Calls to Action (#cta), and out of those, 10 posts were to advertise the Hypesquad October (#hypesquad october), the first blog event. Which had 1 entry from the community I discovered way too late, also under the hashtag #hypesquad october.

The most popular game was #ts4, with 1075 posts, and the most popular challenge across all games was any variation of the Not So Berry Challenge (#notsoberry), with 140 posts.

We had 10 #video posts where people decided to host their legacy on youtube or similar platforms, and we had 9 #gif posts. (these were not all by @akitasimblr, but most of them were. Shoutout to some literally dynamic story telling!)

And that's it. That's all of the interesting data I can think of right now.

baby food: likes oatmeal cereal but dislikes mango and applesauce!

cleo's first week in summary: she was doing two odd jobs every day and found out some new likes & dislikes. discovering she likes weightlifting but hates dating and flirting. she also seemed to like taking photos after one of her odd jobs. and of course...making enemies across the whole island 🤦
