How does Asami feel about Korra's scars; the cuts, burns, and bruises that cover her body and taint her appearance from the years of duty?
She’s can’t really voice out her opinion on the matter considering that it benefits her in the long run.
Each scar comes from a fight; every graph reshapes her skin’s outer beauty, marking within the date of suffering. The heiress knows all too well what it is like to have imperfect skin. Memorizing the very definition of those swellings beneath gloves and fine garments.
She handles both tools and weapons alike, not to mention she swings her nude branches towards her enemies without a care. Never keeping in mind the abrasion and calluses that may gather. Still, it is nothing compared to the extremities that an avatar must endure for the people.
A human shield they must become in order to withstand the tolerance of battle.
Each scar, each scrape, each bruise and burn it –it tells a story. And frankly, she enjoys these stories when spread with the enthusiasm Korra shares. To the owner, those markings are not a symbol of imperfection or weakness, but a sign of strength. A reward for surviving, a receipt to show for her win -now tell me, what human would take that away?
And she loves them for that.
She only hopes that that love doesn’t turn bittersweet under death.
Korra handles dangerous elements, LIVING elements with vigor, while Asami on the other hand handles stationary objects. It takes a person with gifts in speech to sell one of Asami’s victories as something extraordinary, but any amateur can recall Korra’s failure and turn her into a heroine with only two words.

my opinion on;
character in general: She’s the Avatar and you gotta deal with it! Man, oh, man. Korra’s had my heart since episode one. Now skipping all the romantic drama, I love her development over the series. She’s headstrong and confident but when it comes down to it Korra is as naive as Aang was about the world when they both escaped their “prisons”. Hers was the compound and his was the ice burg. I loved watching her grow into this more mature, understanding person.how they play them: Pretty damn sure you are Korra. We never got to interact much when I was on Olaf but reading your threads you do have her down to the point where it’s scary.the mun: lovely, we’ve been following each other for possibly more than a year? i honestly can’t remember but even if i don’t know you personally you’re wonderful and impressively dedicated to all your blogs.
do i;
follow them: YASSSS QUEEN YASSS.rp with them: We haven’t in a while but hoping to change that soon.want to rp with them: GIVE ME ALL THE THINGS.ship their character with mine: What’s that sound? The sound my shipper heart saying ‘KORRASAMI’. I would never wish to see them apart. Like seriously you and your Asami are so cute.
what is my;
overall opinion: I adore you, I adore you, I adore you, I adore you. Forever and a day. You’re so beautiful as a writer (and person). I’m so happy you followed me here.
**Note: Mun’s answer are all to be completely honest. Don’t send url if you don’t want brutal honesty.

f l ops down next to her on the couch as she's reading, resting her head on Asami's lap and burying her face into her beloved's tummy before blissfully drifting off to sleep.
The literature she reads is solely for entertainmentpurposes.
An interest so hidden that only a handful of morsels know ofher creative leisure. Reading for educative purposes helps the mind and all,but too much academia soddens one’s own nature. So rightfully, her intuitive balance reactskindly to the active distraction that presented itself atop her thighs.
The rich fabric ofher wine colored skirt cuddled the strays of russet that branched off theavatar’s scalp. Her usual thick and linear strands defined the frame of herexterior quite nicely –causing a bold and tired statement to transpire from herlook. She could not help but gaze at the tired being before her.
Somehow the latent exposure entertained her more than bustycopy she held between her fingertips. Perhaps, the reality of this instant lightsa deeper interest than words in a novel do.
She wishes to treat Korra like a book. To break physicalboundaries by caressing the suppleness of her skin and test her reactions likea writer tests for word usage. –Asami laughs at the sudden warmness tailing onher abdomen, and continues to smile even after Kora falls asleep. She waitedonly until Korra was asleep to set the book aside in a little nook of the sofa.
Her vertebra curved slightly, in the process, bits of herponytail slipped over her clavicle. In a way, segments of her hair acted like acloth, a ticklish cloth that would stiffen the nose of the sleeping bender. Theheiress continued to lean closer until her lips managed to seal a kisssomewhere-

On a scale of slim to beefy, Asami finds herself to be intermediate.
Her fitness doesn’t depend on settling down with weights, instead, she forces her posture into different positions. Her pale muscle structure is not heavily defined, adding to the fact that her diet is not linking itself to weight gain in order to shape the fat into muscle. Asami relies on training her muscular fibers in duration not strength, which is why she majors in speed instead of resilience.
If she can’t incapacitate her opponent under three strikes, she’ll have to resort to other means of weakening her opponent. Thought, that rarely becomes an issue considering that the electric shock circuiting from her glove ascends nicely into the most permeable spots.
Training:
She trains with stable dummies to memorize what nerves to strike and what areas to hit under what pressure. She tests which limbs work best with the inner and outer regions of the body by alternating with her legs, knees, hands and elbows.
Her training ground has ample room for her to practice her gymnastics, working alongside that is also her flexibility. Asami needs the extra space to manage her flips and mid-air kicks, along with any other combination of moves that may prove difficult to accomplish in a compressed space.
Though training with yourself is an alright thing to do, it is always best to train with a partner, and who better than her beloved? Since they both have busy schedules, they find that the time they spend together training helps them bond.
Their fighting routine is repetitive because martial arts is all about repetition and stance. While in training it doesn't appear to be very dynamic since the steps are broken down step by step, which minimizes its threat, and adds to the boredom. Although, things get heavy from time to time, and they can’t help but leave the compound with bruises, sweaty and messy hair.
During their sessions Asami trains Korra in her martial arts style for it reflects a more threatening and maturity on her fighter her person. Martial arts translate to wisdom and humbleness, boxing on the opposite hand is youth and strength.
