Does anyone else think that there could be a horcrux situation in WTDSIK regarding Derkila?

I’ve had a feeling lately as I continued to rewatch the anime that maybe Derkila has sort of spilt of his mana— or something of the sort— into artefacts or objects within the Netherworld. Maybe as a way to find a new ruler?

First, there’s the ring of Gluttony. There’s obviously a connection between Alikred and Derkila (their names being an emordnilap (backwards of a palindrome)). We’ve seen how Alikred had emitted mana that has the essence of the missing king during the aptitude test. So, this is a given that, to some extent, Alikred is part Derkila.

Second, the Legendary Leaf. When the leaf blossomed, Derkila had emerged and spoke to Iruma. How else could this happen if Derkila was not connected to it? I’m guessing that Derkila had planted some of his own mana into it so that he would know when it bloomed, or that the mana he planted was able to project Derkila’s figure at that moment.

I can’t recall anything else at this moment, but I find it believable that as Iruma progressed in school, he’s going to have more encounters with Derkila-infused objects. All of which are to show how Iruma is the ‘least demon-like demon’. Which could be what Derkila is looking for in the future king.

Since there are three grades (that I believe are more academic focus and are what I see to be the equivalent to human high school), I can imagine that the creators of WTDSIK will fit a total of six of these horcruxes. Maybe we will have scenes where Iruma will get to personally talk with Derkila through one of them, and Derkila will reveal where he is hiding.

(Though, I think that Alikred is Derkila and will regain his proper form when Iruma reaches a high enough rank—maybe yodh. Either that or it will also take Iruma finding all of these horcruxes and putting them together for Derkila to come back.)

1. Floral carpet (Athapoov) and the legendary leaf

Legendary leaf is important to me

During the celebration of Onam, we lay a floral carpet in our courtyard, or in modern times inside our house, in the veranda. It is a pattern of rings made on the floor using flowers and leaves. It is done starting with laying a small ring of flowers on the first day (atham). The flower used for the first ring is "thumba". The myth behind thumba is that it was rejected and teased by other flowers and labelled unworthy of shivapuja (ritual of worshipping lord Shiva) because it's very small and unattractive (i think it's cute). The sad thumba prayed to lord Shiva and gained his acceptance. So the first ring of the atham is laid with this flower. Here comes one of the best similarities. The rarest ingredient is this thumba, just like the legendary flower in mairuma. Just like thumba, this flower was also called unattractive in mairuma before it exploded to create the most beautiful flower. Our athapoov works similarly.

The second picture is one I laid at my house. We don't have much flowers in our garden though it's quite a forest rather than a garden. Unfortunately, we don't have thumba either. Our star ingredient for onam. The best part is,Just like we lay the floral carpet, the legendary flower exploded and gave everyone a visual treat of the most beautiful flower they have never seen before, just like our athapoov. If you look at this, it is very similar to the Athapoov, with rings. On the tenth day,. I have decided to use this design for our athapoov. So this is the Athapoov in mairuma

And interestingly, Delkira himself appears when the legendary flower blooms, as if he chose the flower important to him, like Lord Shiva
