✨my day in pictures… I drank coffee out of my @caffeineandlegends mug while reading a few chapters of my book, cleaned the house, cut sugar cookies, watched the boys play and craft, went on a date with my husband and stole his shrimp, iced sugar cookies after making homemade royal icing for the first time, and ending the night with LeBlond basketball 🖤 I had such a good day. Okay so I DNF The Wheel of Time (The Eye of the World) when I first tried it because I had zoned out about 10% in. Then I just wiki’d the book summary and started book 2 and just could not get into it. The books are older, the writing was dense, and there were so many characters to keep track of. It was also during a time of a lot of mental health stuff for me. Well, lemme just say I’m caught up on the episodes and I immediately started rereading the first book. Having the actors faces in my head as I read, though I know the book and show deviate from one another, makes it so much more exciting!! I am LOVING the book! I enjoy watching movies first before reading books because the work of building a character in my brain has been achieved for me 🤣 Girl Interrupted, Dune, Bridgerton, Fight Club, TATBILB, and Dexter! These are all things I’ve watched before I’ve read and for me, it’s the only way! ✨ Are there any movie/tv show adaptations you’ve loved? — This cute dragon candle was from a @caffeineandlegends book box!
