Josha Stradowski : The Wheel Of Time
I made myself a little time, and decided to make a fanart of Moiraine Sedai from The Wheel of Time, I loved the series and im devastated that it was cancelled. I had an awfull experience with Game of Thrones, I wanted to enjoy the Rings of Power, but I was truly enjoying this one! and it was cancellled!
So anyway. Here is Moiraine, I hope you like it! Sign the petition to Save the Wheel of Time! (I know that we all have bigger problems, but we also need something to disosiate, to inspire us, to enjoy!)

Something I don't dare say on twitter, but I think this hatred for the show and its fans is getting out of hand...
I genuinely would never have read the books if the show didn't exist and I expect that's true for most people too. The show came out when I was going through some personal things and it saved me, it awakened happiness I hadn't felt in a while in me, and for that it will always have a special place in my heart.
You can criticise the show for its objectively bad writing choices (killing off black characters, especially Siuan and Loial, before their time for example) but also not be a d*ck to show onlys, or purposefully spoil them when they haven't read the books.
But not just show onlys, I've been harassed by book readers for liking certain writing choices in the show because they weren't 1:1 with the books and I have read those books years ago, and I still think some choices were good, even better than the books.
There's also way too many people out there idolising the books, Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson. I get it, WoT is my favourite book series, but it is NOT without some glaring issues which include horrid misogyny, sexual violence on women (in a way where it's portrayed as just punishment), racism, orientalism...do I need to go on?
Anyways my point is, some people will hate on the WoT show and its fans for really stupid reasons and, honestly after that s3 finale, I thought we could finally get along, but I still keep seeing people bringing up old discourse and going unprompted into show fans' comments happy the show was cancelled, it's really disheartening.
In my opinion, it's better to have a show, although flawed, than no show at all, I don't think there's going to be another WoT adaptation anytime soon, or with such a great cast again. I would not put my trust in iwot.
Whether you like it or not, the show had some of the most diverse cast I've seen anywhere in TV (no that doesn't negate how they've treated the black characters, yes the bar is in hell). Name a show where over 50% of actors are PoC and especially older women and young unknown actors!
Our most favorite character/s thus far from S2 and S3 are still Aviendha and Elayne Trakand...dunno what it is about them, both Ayoola Smart and Ceara Coveney radiate such presence and confidence as their characters, and since their characters are pretty badass, it feels like their characters are pretty lived in, like they ARE their characters. Dunno if that's just the writing, or the performance or both, but they're perfectly cast. And Coveney straight up just lights up the screen whenever she comes on, like...🔥. Sometimes, WOT can be a slog to go through, there's always this ominous, bleak, somber, dark cloud hanging over everyone because the Trollocs and the Forsaken and the Dark One and the end of the world and all that, like it's just so overly serious all the time, so whenever they come on, it just seems like such a treat. Bonus points for them liking each other and hooking up, and Elayne's dream also indicates she feels something more for Avi. Finally, this 👇right here, made us love Elayne even more. This scene here opened up the possibility that, well, fantasy doesn't have to be bleak all the time. In conclusion, more Elayne Trakand, please.
The wheel didn’t go easy on them.
