A bruised hand comes up to cover Leon’s black eye; with his grey eye already losing the vision it had when he was alive, he always relied on his golden eye to get around. Especially in combat and during work. Leon can only remember waking up in an alleyway beaten and sore, they thrashed his motorcycle while he had been unconscious.
But shouldn’t they know that if they hurt him, they’d have to deal with his dad? Aka one of the ‘head honchos’ of the Rotten World? Whatever it was, the angel could only predict what’s going to happen once he’s taken care of.
“I’m just thankful I didn’t get any shards of glass in my eyes from when my lenses broke. Hell, I’m even pissed that the fucker thrashed my motorcycle, hopefully I can get it fixed up..”
His hand felt around for his broken glasses, fingertips brushing along the hinges and frames. Grabbing them, his good eye tried to observe the damage. Lenses were broken, frames were bent, the end pieces were loose with one of the screws missing...
Setting the broken remains down, Leon felt around a bit more to check his surroundings. He couldn’t feel anything else around him all aside from Lewis’ leather jacket.
“I do know that it just started with him and his buddies cornering me after I left my studio to head home.” The pain was becoming unbearable, his head pounding from hitting a brick wall hours before coming home. Hands now cradled his head, tightening his grip a little.
“Then one of them said... “This is the kid we’ve been looking for. Lewis Legend’s little hellspawn.” Th-they said a couple of other things... but I can’t remember since I had been unconscious. I might be able to rethink it all if I wasn’t dealing with this damn migraine right now.”
