     “do your parents work here, too? i don’t think i’ve seen you around here before.” not that that would be much of a surprise. it wasn’t as if charles spent much time here. he enjoyed spending as little time around his parents as possible, and having the house to himself while they were working was just a perk of their jobs. “i’m charles, by the way.”
